This is by far the worst experience in all of Washington. Satan himself probably cries knowing this place exists. Matter of fact, he probably shakes his head and a drop of tear rolls down his cheek each time somebody enters through those doors. The workers aren't there to help. Try waiting in line after having TONS of supplies and having extremely arrogant, rude workers who literally don't even acknowledge your existence. Pitiful. Sad. Annoying. There have been many times where I was just STANDING there waiting and they don't even notice me yet they start scanning talking and gossiping amongst themselves. Like several of the other reviews have stated, some of the employees are pretty douchey and inattentive. I found others that were very helpful and friendly especially since this was my first time here. Now to get to the meat and potatoes, the reason I came here. Pay attention all you home pit masters... NAMP 123A beef plate ribs! Yes, the flintstone ones! Nice big meaty beef ribs, 3 rib from the primal plate, not cut down, just whole, meaty and trimmed! So if you are trying to find these ribs to throw on your smoker look no further. Although not the quality of Snake River Farms (but then again, who is?) but still decent quality for choice and having them in stock! read more

***First, this is a wholesale store and you must prove you are a restaurant owner to get a membership here. Which is free, by the way. No annual fees. There are so many things that I like about this store. *Lots of very helpful salespeople wandering around. They are informative about their products and one even chased me down a cart because my hands were full. This was no easy feat-we were there today, their opening day, and there were not many free carts. *A good mix of food, supplies, and equipment. Envision a Cash & Carry/Bargreen Ellingson hybrid. The prices are (mostly) really low compared to Costco Business and C&C. There are several products that undercut the other stores by a considerable margin. *FREEZER COATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hands down, the most awesome thing about Restaurant Depot. Bright orange coats to don as you brave the cold, cold freezer. I freakin love it! *They are open on Sundays. Costco Business is not. Alas, I did dock this store one star. And that is solely because their check out process sucks. Only six lanes. The cashier rang everything up on a POS, then had to handwrite in a logbook what we purchased, then had to call for a supervisor to inspect and count what was on the cart and compare to the receipt, AND THEN they did it again at the door. They take the time to know you. They will bend over backwards to help you. Customer services is best of anyplace, even beats Nordstrom's in the 70's! Clean, Clean, Clean! Great selection. They dont accept returns and blaming the customer for it, they claimed that they would have a host and gave us a thing called day pass but they did not, they did not even have a host on the day I went there, and the cashier did not explain nothing to me about the return policy either. Those two who claimed themselves as managers' attitude like craps, dont come this place for shopping, go somewhere else, their items are not cheap so there's no point shopping on this shit hole. I find that Restaurant Depot is a great source for product with great prices. Many items are 20% less than buying from the "big dogs" which is helpful when your big dog rep cant get you the product you need when you need it. The selections of brands is decent and the produce is looking good most of the time. I Dont understand the comment about management problems from the 2 star reviewer nor the comment about making fun of Mexicans? I see all races of people shopping here and from my personal experience I have always had exceptional service and witnessed others having it from managers and the rest of the staff. In fact I think its disgusting that YELP even let this review go public. Thats a strong statement to post and obviously a person with a chip on the shoulder. Bad Yelp! I recently went in to shop for my restaurant and was told my account was closed because I hadn't shopped there within the last 6 months. When I asked if I could re open it I was asked "well are you going to shop in the next 6 months?" Really? I was there about to drop $200 or more on small wares because I like their selection. I can almost find everything we need here the cashiers are always friendly and helpful management however is not so friendly and they may chew out one of their employees right in front of you! Horrible service!!! Owning my own business it is imperative that products are carried with my distributors. This company never seems to have what you need when you need it. Then when they carried again what we buy they raised the price significantly. I asked them as to why and they said because everybody wants it! Not exactly a professional response! horrible customer service from Jeff Papa and Angel Evans. i ordered some stuff for a catering gig i was doing two weeks in advance and they needed to ship it from portland to the fife location and it wasnt there then they have the nerve to get mad at me for not taking the stuff i ordered the next time i came in. well i didnt need it anymore. and angel said i messed up her inventory and jeff said we just wont order anything for her anymore without a deposit. well guess what the 20,000 grand a year i spent there wont be spent there anymore so rude. not only that they belittle employees infront of customers. what kind of business is this??? not professional!!! there general manager must not be very smart to have these two for managers....
