Pretty the only breakfast place in Lachine. Nothing fancy but food is good for the price. Portions are quite big. Took a ham send cheese pancake and was full after only eating 1/3 of it. Service is not always super quick and paying the bill is sometime a challenge as you need to pay at the cash and line up could be long. They also have a terrace outside during summer and that's nice. Very tight seating- every time someone is getting seated you have to either get out of your chair so they can get in or scoot in so far that the table is suffocating you. Apparently this is the only breakfast joint in the area, so I'd probably travel further if you wanted something good. Portion sizes are good, but the taste isn't very good. This is my absolute favourite breakfast restaurant. I've been coming here multiple times per week since 2007. The food is excellent and the service staff are always pleasant and welcoming. You always receive a pot of coffee for your table. I've never had a bad experience in my seven years of frequenting this establishment. If you're in the area, stop by to treat yourself. Great breakfast option in the Lachine area, with reasonable prices, fast service and just about what you would expect to get from a classic breakfast restaurant. Eggs, seasoned potatoes, breakfast sausage, bacon, pancakes/crêpes, french toast, ... you know the drill. Plus, a whole pot of coffee gets left on your table for you to refill your mug at your own pace. Yay! Some of my favourites are their eggs benedict (la princesse, with asparagus, ham and swiss cheese is my go-to, and I always end up taking leftovers home because it's so BIG) and their crêpes stuffed with fruit (the crêpes were recommended to me before I had ever gone to this location and I can see why they were, they are very well made), but you can't go wrong with their classic breakfast plates. The best deals come from their early bird menu, which is before 9 AM and consists of 4 options that they regularly change. Pretty much all the options are under 11$ and are all really huge, I'm always taking leftovers home. I make sure to come for the early bird specials not only because of the prices, but because it gets really crowded and noisy later in the day. The only thing I really don't like about this place is their baked beans, which are included in a lot of their dishes on the side. They must be from a tin, because they sure as hell don't taste homemade. So nasty, please spare your taste buds and leave them untouched like I do (as much as I feel bad for wasting the food, it's not worth it). read more

This is the best place for breakfast in Lachine. The service is always friendly and effective. The portions are big and it's not too pricy. The only things I have to say is that the potatoes are a bit too salty and they should offer real maple syrup (being a bit picky here). All the plates I've tried are really good and they make good smoothies/fresh juice (I came here about 20 times ). I recommend this place if you just want a good and not too fancy place for breakfast. This is a good option if you want to eat a good breakfest without paying a lot. It's as good as Cora on the taste level but the presentation of the platters is more simple. There's enough space for large groups. I love benedict eggs and they're pretty good at Eggsquis so I would suggest you to order some if you like benedict eggs.
