We were recommended Havnebakken as the best restaurant in Vesterø and the restaurant did not disappoint (as others did). I mostly only review those that I think are excellent and this rose to the occasion. We had local fish of the day beautifully prepared and presented, with new potatoes just dug, and ate outside on a warm summer evening. Beer choices limited (no ale but Newcastle brown) but wine selection fine. The chokolade kage for dessert highly recommend! And one of the only places on Læsø to get a real latte. If you're only on Læsø for a couple of meals this is your place. Two mains plus a wine and beer plus latte plus dessert set us back 734 kr or $114 - steep but it's an island and you can spend as much elsewhere for a lot lower quality. read more
