Our 1-st visit to Idalia lovely setting . We started with Calamari choice of sautéed or crispy.. we chose the Crispy and it was Delicious! Very tasty and had assorted peppers throughout the dish and the marinara was very tasty also! Great appetizer choice Dinner was Chix parm w- pasta on the side my husband says was very tender and tasty! I had the Shrimp pesto pasta! Good also! Nice large shrimp very tasty! Our server was a Sweetheart very friendly and attentive! Helpful with suggestions! Highly recommend that Calamari looking forward to our next visit!

I went here a couple of weeks ago and had a big lunch. The ambiance and decor was decent for a casual Italian restaurant. The server was nice and tried helping out with some suggestions. We ordered the bolognese, tiramisu, eggplant appetizer, and Ala vodka. The meat on the bolognese was delicious but I wish there was a little more oils, butter, or sauce on the pasta, but still delicious, the Ala vodka did not disappoint but again maybe a tiny bit more sauce, the tiramisu was good, and the eggplant appetizer was decent and the sauce was great but in the future I would like try a different appetizer. We will definitely return to see about consistency etc. I really think it is a good restaurant to try out with a lot of great potential. Food 8.0 Ambiance 7.5 Service 8.0

Welcome addition to the area , upscale modern decor light and airy with outdoor seating area . Went on a busy Father's Day afternoon and sat at the bar where Eva & Kayden did an outstanding job of serving us and making us feel welcomed and now the food .... Started off with the Classic bruschetta which was excellent.. main courses were rigatoni in spicy vodka sauce that was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of sauce , with a kick of red pepper flak - very tasty . Wife had the linguini & shrimp Genovese in a pesto sauce which she loved , again pasta cooked perfectly and shrimp were meaty & tender ... generous portion on both entrees ... desert was pistachio gelato and it was the perfect end to great evening out - Highly Recommend

Great addition to Parrish. I visited the other day with a friend for an early dinner and was not disappointed. Server, I believe her name was Christine, was absolutely amazing. Very helpful in suggesting menu items and very attentive. I order a happy hour flight and the lasagna. Drinks were tasty and food was delicious! Love the outdoor space as well. I will definitely return to try other menu items in the near future.

    Save room for the Tiramisu.

The food is outstanding. The service was top notch and the recommendations were spot on. The ambiance was the perfect for both a formal dinner and a laid back get together with friends and family. We will be back. If you go, save room for the tiramisu

Went last night for my husband's birthday dinner with our two adult children. Food was amazing and plentiful...everyone took home leftovers. The service we had was outstanding. We arrived about 520 and got right in. When we left at 630 there was a long wait so the early bird gets the worm for sure. I loved that their seating is flexible. All the furniture moves so they can configure setting for all sizes of groups. Drink menu is quite large. I'm a big cucumber fan and highly recommend the Moccasin Wallow martini. Our total which included 2 alcoholic beverages, an appetizer, 4 mains and a dessert (Tiramisu...delish) was $161. Not bad for a higher end dining experience with quality ingredients, fantastic service and great flavor!

What an amazing new addition to Parrish. We arrived here with a larger party so we had to wait a little bit to be seated however, while we waited, we enjoyed some really great drinks at the bar. The ambience was very upscale but casual. The food was superb, including their cheese pizza which is unhappy hour was really good along with the clams linguine. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something new and exciting in Parrish.

tonight we went to IDalia-a newly opened Italian restaurant in Parrish!! It was a wonderful time. We were seated right away. They took our drink order and brought bread and oil to the table. My friend had the fungi pizza and burrata salad and she really enjoyed it! I had the Mortadella sandwich which had pistachio cream, torn burrata, arugula and lemon oil on an Italian roll-sooooooo good!! (with truffle fries! Yum!) we sat in the "outside" portion-total under cover and it wasn't bad temperature wise tonight! They have a lot of great looking items on their menu! A enjoyable and tasty dining experience.

Today, was our first time dining at Restaurant Idalia, and overall we had a pleasant experience. Our server, Tina, was truly exceptional, friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit. We started with the calamari, which was just okay. The calamari itself was a bit small, and the breading was quite heavy, making it the dominant flavor. However, the marinara sauce served alongside it was very enjoyable. We also tried the eggplant meatballs, which were decent but didn't particularly stand out. My husband ordered the fungi wood-fired pizza and seemed to really enjoy it. I had the wood-fired lasagna with beef bolognese; while it was good, it didn't quite meet expectations. The edges of the pasta were slightly burnt, and the béchamel and ricotta flavors overpowered the bolognese, making the beef less noticeable. On a more positive note, the melon spritzer was refreshing and well-balanced. Tina also treated us to complimentary pistachio shots, which were a nice touch and quite enjoyable. We would be open to returning in the future, perhaps to explore more of the dinner menu. Overall, while the food was satisfactory, the service, especially from Tina, was the highlight of our visit. Thank you for the warm hospitality and excellent service. With a few refinements to the dishes, this could easily become a standout dining experience. Again, We look forward to giving it another try.

My friend, Randy, said to her the sign says 9pm she told him she wasn't doing this with him right now cause she had a hard day. I asked if Randy and I could finish our pool game, and she said no cause they already said they were having a meeting at 8 pm. Which they didn't tell us until after we had already bought our drinks. I said that's BS, and she told me to get my ass out of her bar and that I could keep my ass and drugs oit of her bar. I told her I don't do drugs and she could test my ass. I then said half her staff does cococaine and called her a bitch as I was walking out. She threatened to kick my ass and the 6'5 bar back chic stood up acting like she was going to hit me. This was all while I was walking out to leave. Then after I left she called my boss, Penny, trying to get me fired. Thank God I have an awesome boss. Anyone can ask my boyfriend, Randy, Doug or Bill. They were all there when it happened. She then barred my friend Joie who used to bartend at Charlotte's cause she commented on my Facebook post which is identical to this post.

They've recently scaled back the menu, which seems to have helped with consistency. On Father's Day we tried the lemon beignets and skillet hash both were genuinely good. Most recently Ryan had the ribs and I was finally able to get chicken this time, which made for a solid sandwich (I like to switch out the bison burger for a grilled chicken) The service remains the standout as always. It feels like the feedback was taken seriously and things are moving in the right direction. Cautiously optimistic and glad we gave it another chance. One thing I'd love to see is a weekend brunch menu -- it feels like a missed opportunity for this space since there are not a lot of gluten free breakfast places nearby.

Wait staff were very friendly and the decor was fine. We ordered two drinks, a Gin and Tonic and a Rum and Coke. After a while of pondering the menu, our drinks arrived and we ordered the Steak Tips and Blackened Mahi-Mahi, and two wedge salads. The salads arrived a short while later and were large and tasty. Our meals arrived, the steak tips were fine, but my Mahi-mahi was anything but fresh. It had an extremely bad taste. I flagged down our server and indicated that it was not edible. She asked if I would like to order something else, I said yes, I would have the Steak tips. 15 minutes later, our server swung by and indicated that there were several tickets still in front of my meal. 5 minutes later (my wife had finished her meal) the Manager came by, provided my new meal and indicated he was sorry and would comp a dessert. The total for the bill was $140 not including gratuity. Other restaurants provide much better return for our money. It will be a very long time if ever before we attempt another visit.
