Luigia's was fantastic!!! The atmosphere is sophisticated and fun- think red velvet and dim lighting, bustling with activity. Great date place for sure- everyone looked so good in this lighting! We started with bruschetta- it had mortadella and black truffle mayo . Amazing. They CARE about their ingredients and it shows! The Greek salad was delicious, with homemade dressing and perfect for 2 to share. The pizza- San Marzano tomatoes, onions, artichokes-- all laid out beautifully on a superbly baked crust-absolute perfection. This meal was the perfect way to start a vacation. We watched the bartender in awe, making beautiful drinks with love and precision. Our server was excellent and attentive. When my friend and I visited, the weather was amazing, so we decided to sit outside, which meant we got a good view of the city. The service was impeccable, quick and respectful. I had the Sopra tagliatelle, which I found cooked surprisingly well for such a simple dish. And my friend was raving about their chicken Caesar salad as well. In terms of pricing, the meal was relatively cheap for a restaurant in Zurich with such a nice location and such good service. The one thing I did not like that much was the fact that at the beginning, we were seated next to a table of smokers. However, the host was quick to find us another seat at our request, which really helped boost my opinion of the place. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a casual lunch with a nice atmosphere.

I asked her if I was doing something American that wasn't done in Switzerland as it's common to customize a burger order in the US. She did not answer directly, so not sure. The burger came out as I ordered it and was very tasty. My other half ordered a pasta dish that she enjoyed. The food was hot and filling, just what we needed.
