I can't say anything bad about this place. It has amazing drinks and such a good truffle pasta. I really enjoyed the atmosphere too.

Nice sunny day to sit out and enjoy some seafood and sangria. I was sat quick, I beat the Friday…read morelunch rush by a little bit. I ordered quickly. Calamari for an app. A lobster roll for my meal and a drink. The sangria came quick and was good, a little syrupy. The calamari and lobster roll took a while, but maybe they are a bit more relaxed in Canada. No one was available, even for me to waive down, no check ins either. Again, probably customary in Montreal, I don't know the culture that well. The calamari was pretty looking, but it was tough as a well done leather glove. The "lobster roll" had about two pieces of lobster, the rest was small shrimp. The flavor was good, the bun was perfect. But still, for the price, a disappointment. The French fries were delicious but soggy. Maybe that was a spin on Poutine.??? I sat for an hour without being able to get someone. I will not return.

Open kitchen with two chefs and two front of the house staff who were warmly welcomed me and were professional throughout. Had the oysters, clean and crisp with a nice Spanish Cava. Tried the lobster croquetas and the anchovy toast points. Tapas were in point, the anchovies were a tad too salty for me. Ended up ordering the catch of the day, butterflied sea bream. It was the piece de resistance. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the cheek/head was juicy all the way to the tail. The sides were fine, the papas bravas could have been crispier, but fine. Green beans were nicely seasoned. Had half and waved the white flag. Paired it with a tasty Albariño. Great start to quick sojourn in Montreal.

Honestly having the Birria here, I'd say is better than most places I've had in Toronto. A lot of flavour still retained in the beef with it still being tender. We were seated right away. The waitress staff was able to quickly get our orders. The only downside with the wait staff was they seemed a bit pressured for us to keep ordering though we had only stopped by for drinks and to kill time before going to another location. The drinks were delicious. The Cafe con leche was just the right consistency of creaminess without being a pudding consistency or too thick. I love the banana chips as a garnish on top. It was a nice touch. The mela mama loco was a hint of sweet and sour. The tiki takata was pretty while being deliciously tropical. The summer mule had a refreshing flavor and spritz to the drink. I really liked that the chips were thick and didn't break when trying to get a decent amount of the dip onto it. I would highly recommend to ask for the hot sauces. They have 4 varieties to try from sweet to hot. Overall would come again on an empty stomach to try other foods they have available.
