Plenty of parking but the later you go the busier of course it gets. There was plenty of space inside and they also had covered/heated outdoor seating available. We were seated right away. The waitress staff was able to quickly get our orders. The only downside with the wait staff was they seemed a bit pressured for us to keep ordering though we had only stopped by for drinks and to kill time before going to another location. The drinks were delicious. The Cafe con leche was just the right consistency of creaminess without being a pudding consistency or too thick. I love the banana chips as a garnish on top. It was a nice touch. The mela mama loco was a hint of sweet and sour. The tiki takata was pretty while being deliciously tropical. The summer mule had a refreshing flavor and spritz to the drink. I really liked that the chips were thick and didn't break when trying to get a decent amount of the dip onto it. I would highly recommend to ask for the hot sauces. They have 4 varieties to try from sweet to hot. Overall would come again on an empty stomach to try other foods they have available. read more

We saw the spot a while out shopping. Nobody in our group of five had tried it before. The place has a nice Mexican aesthetic (bright colours). Blacklight in the washroom. I wanted to get nachos but changed my mind for a burrito bowl. Seems like a safer option also 18$ instead of 30$. Food was good, but I expected more then chipotle. 14$ for that small portion of guacamole. I know avocados are expensive...but... I didn't try a drink but they did look pretty good. read more

We feel like tacos should be enjoyed on a terrrase (ideally on a sunny day but this summer has not been kind) so, we were pleased to find a covered, heated and nicely decorated one here. The size of the bar and sheer volume of spirits is quite frankly impressive. It takes up most of the indoor space. Which... Paired with the fact the alcohol menu is 7 pages long compared to 2 for food... Ends up being an accurate indication of what you can expect your experience to be like here.  While the tacos themselves aren't bad per se, very average, slightly crumbly with meat a little on the dry side, and lacking a little flavour  - the main focus seems to be the alcohol. We would describe it more like a bar that happens to serve Mexican food. But even then, what we ordered was underwhelming. A Horchata in a pineapple sounded somehow more sensational to us than the 20$ ice bucket we received. read more

Pooh and I have cycled by this place each time we go see a movie. Since we are both lovers of tequila, we thought this time we'd check it out. We sat here 14 minutes before being served. We were the only people sitting at the tables while the servers behind the bar twiddling their thumbs. We were getting ready to leave when someone finally came over to our table. Other reviewers said the stools were uncomfortable...they were right! The only stools with cushions were at the bar but the tables all had hard round or square stools. The square ones are much more comfy for metal stools. The decor made me think about a bar in Cuba, Pooh and I frequented on our visit there. The drinks:  The Margarita was disappointing. It was mostly ice with a bit of mix. I was watching the bartender mix them and was surprised he didn't strain out the ice after doing his shake. Personally, I don't think it was worth 10$. Next we tried a pitcher of Strawberry daiquiri: We could not taste the rum at all, though the strawberry taste and the sweetness was very present. Lastly, Pooh had the Basic Bitch and I had the Bloody Santa Maria (their version of a Bloody Caesar). Basic Bitch: great flavour but tiny and the bartender strained out the ice Bloody Santa Maria: nice and spicy and the pickled veggies are a bonus! We didn't eat anything so can't comment on the food though we did see the nachos on other tables and the toppings were scarce. 10$ and up for the drinks and 40$ for the pitchers - way too pricey We won't be going back! read more

Great place for drinks and Mexican food. I came here with friends after 5 PM with a fairly large party and we were seated immediately. If you love drinks definitely order the shooters. Either the tequila or mezcal. We ordered the dori nachos, loaded nachos, Al pastor/carinitas and birria tacos. Flavor wise everything was on point. We loved our tacos! They were seasoned well and the portions are average. This is a great place to take children as well since they have outdoor seating. Highly recommend coming here before 6 PM as we saw a line out the door for a table. Their drink menu is very extensive featuring spritzs, beers and wine. read more

This was my first time here and no idea if I will return . We had gone when the province was permitted to have 4 people from the same house hold or 2 max from different households can sit at the same table , so I'm not going to talk about time for food to reach us or waiting time since it's understandable because it was busy. We noticed from the queue that there were firstly many tables that didn't respect that, but that's on the restaurant since we just wanted food for takeout , which we advised the hostess when we got to the front of the queue . She gave us the QR code to scan and let us know that someone will be out to get our order. The server came out and we gave him our orders which will be listed below ; but we felt kind of uncomfortable because we were trying to keep a bit of our distance since you know we have to be 2m apart and he kept trying to either come closer and even tried to tap him arm onto one of my friend's shoulder...if it was outside of the current situation , fine whatever but obviously in this day and age it's not okay to do that ( but it's fine , he's was trying to be hospitable). Anyways here is what we ordered for food Birria : we came mainly for these and honestly was disappointed, wouldn't recommend Pollo: chicken tacos, succulent & would recommend Camarones: shrimp, good spice & would recommend Pirate: chorizo, kind of dry but the flavour was good and my friend would recommend ( since I don't eat pork I couldn't try) Papa ensalada: not the best potato salad out there, wouldn't really recommend Dirty guac : was actually super good however we ended up somehow with more chips than the guac which is okay Food was overall great but the birria was super disappointing; it was really dry and the consommé lacked a lot of flavour so we had to go to our other go to spot just to get some consommé to have with it and made it taste better. Went to grab a bite before the movies. It was early on a Wednesday 6pm so not that many people. The decor is cool with high chairs everywhere. Tried 2 types of tacos and both were ok but nothing extraordinary. Also took a rice dish (dirty rice if I remember correctly). Portion was pretty generous but again, nothing out of this world. Although everything was ok I wouldn't recommend this place if you are really coming for the food. Come for the atmosphere and decent food. read more

I have been wanting to check out the Dirty D for a while but it is always closed when I drive by. I got lucky this time and decided to go out on a late night excursion and take a change at midnight. The place was happening close to the Cineplex in Dix 30. LOUD but GOOD music and people-young and old were scattered inside and out on there terasse. The terrasse was beautiful with a swing at the end and empty corona bottles stocked with flowers spread on the walls. They have a bar food kind of menu-tequilla and tacos.The drinks looked very good- original at average cost of 11-13$ unless you got a pitcher or a drink served in a fresh pineapple. I got a corona margerita for 10$ with a side of al pastor tacos (3/5)-12$ that had 3 servings- made with roasted pineapple, fresh cilantro, adobo, and pork. Seasoning was a bit lacking- but the meat was well cooked with good grade meet. I find the service was a bit overwhelming, for one server to cover a whole terrasse was a bit much. We waited a good 10 mins before being served- but she was quick when she noticed us. I want to come back here for drinks! The cocktails look legit and there is a foozeball table inside for those that want to bring on some competition over some Tequilla! read more

Laid back bar reminding you of that time you had an amazing pina colada in Cancun. The focus of this place is its drinks. The bar takes up half the wall. Both drinks we tried were excellent. We however came in to eat first and foremost and there are a few types of tacos to choose from. They were all good. I like that the shell was slightly toasted as well.
