The décor is unimpressive, utilitarian, and you won't care about that anymore when your food arrives. Well-portioned plates, decent presentations, and the slightly warm feeling that someone's nonna is hiding in the kitchen doorway checking to see if you like the food and making sure you have enough to eat. I had a great Negroni and wife had one of the best non-alcoholic drinks ever. Mostly Italian wines by the glass. We shared the scallop crudo, buffalo mozzarella and beef carpaccio appetizers. The scallop was probably my favorite out of the 3, but the sheer size of the beef carpaccio dish would make me order it again (good to share amongst 3-4 ppl). For mains, we ordered the cavatelli with pork ragu and the lamb special. The pasta was nicely al dente which complemented well with the tangy-savory cherry tomato and olive ragu. The pear tart with white chocolate yogurt was also a good way to end the meal. Overall a great Italian option in Montreal that I would return to.

Our waitress let us to our table. She was very hospitable and she spoke very good English and told us that they have a salad bar part of our meal. I ordered a classic spaghetti with meat sauce and hubby ordered spaghetti with steak. My meal was amazing. They put a lot of meat sauce and the spaghetti was just cooked right not to soft not too hard. My hubby's steak was cooked perfectly. I also tried the tiramisu not too bad. I wish they put a lot of rum. lol. Chocolate cake was delicious. The place looks elegant and expensive, although the prices are not too bad. I recommend this place.

Very good, a seafood fettuccini and a few orders of oso buco and veal scalopini. All very delicious and generous portions.
