The entrée + plat + dessert in particular comes at a good price, and the dishes are certainly delicious as well. Got the Mini Salade de chévre chaud, which I initially didn't like due to the sauce, but combined with the cheese tasted much better as I warmed up to it. Steak de Thon mi-cuit was the highlight, thought it was beef but turned out to be fish, but was equally as good! To finish it off, I had Créme brulée Praliné, which was excellent! Overall, would highly recommend and will definitely come back if nearby.

Interesting and sublime. Wow the taste. Next came the main plat which was a perfectly seared tuna steak. ...and the wine from Gigondas, made for a memorable and fun meal. I tried each ingredient separately then together to make the perfect bite, and they were all fantastic. I was already borderline stuffed when I realized that I could still have dessert. The speculoos ice cream came in a massive sphere, sandwiched between a large cream puff cut in half, accompanied by a separate cup of chocolate syrup to be drizzled over the entire plate. My plate had only smears of chocolate by the time I finished. My waitress was very kind and patient with me as she went over the menu in English. The owner also stopped by twice to say hi to me and nearby patrons. Overall, La Fourchette seems to be an upscale, modern bistro that served hearty meals.

Our hotel recommended Avenio as a good choice for a nicer meal in Avignon. We made a reservation as the hotel's outdoor seating area is quite limited. The weather was perfect for an outdoor dinner. We decided to order main courses from the "Saison Plat" menu and deserts. My wife ordered the lamb and I ordered the fish. We shared a bottle of wine from the region. The fish was nicely prepared. It was cooked properly. My wife's lamb was also well prepared. The deserts are over the top. One of the highlights of the meal. Avenio is a nice choice for a finer dinner in Avignon.
