You just need to go to Restaurante O Alberto where it's like having dinner with your favorite Portuguese grandparents. We had the seafood rice. I cannot even describe how good this dish was - definitely the best meal we've eaten in all of Portugal and a Top 3 meals of all time for me. It's nothing fancy, but it tastes like love & pride. Unfortunately, we made a reservation last minute and there was only one table available left for that night which was by the front door, which wasn't the best seating because our party of 4-two sat looking out to the restaurant and street and two at their fridge with aged meat and bar, so 2 people didn't have the best view. So I felt bad for my husband and MIL, but my husband was made aware of this when we made the reservation. What was weird was that our reservation was at 7:30-we arrived at 7:15 and left at 9:30 and the two tables that sat 4 people had a reservation sign on them by the big windows looking outside, but no one sat there the entire time we were there. I wish we could have sat there instead. Maybe next time.
