We came to town and this restaurant specifically for some good lobster Paella. Found this restaurants with some good feedbacks online, so we gave it a try.
It was around 1.30pm and the kitchen still serving, so we got a table on their wonderful terrace overlooking the boardwalk and river. Our Bulldog was welcome as well. We asked for the Paella Bogavante (lobster Paella) and it was available. But since it's made by order with a bit of a waiting time. We didn't mind, since we prefer when the meal is freshly prepared. Worth the wait.
We ordered a tasty bottle of Rosé and a starter to share. A plate of salty green beans with pieces of jamon and Foie Gras on top. An unlikely combination. But what a fantastic dish! Really gonna try to recreate that at home. Wonderful.
The Paella came with a nice lobster, perfectly cooked. And also some langoustines, calamari and mussels. Rice was nicely done and the seafood broth rich and full of flavours. A really fantastic meal. And at 29 Euros a person a fair deal.
Staff was great. Friendly and helpful. Also there was no rush, we took our time to enjoy the meal and really had a great time here at this restaurant. Definitely a place we will come back to next time in Northern Spain. read more
