I actually prefer the other local restaurant I tried the night before better. Caldo Verde - The potatoe part of the soup is great. Perfect viscosity but the flavor is not. It wasn't salty enough but more importantly is the flavor of the veggies and the spicy sausage they supposed to use that makes the soup taste different. Grilled giant pawns - The flavor of the prawns is not as intense as expected and hope to be. The squid ink pasta also lacked of flavor. That's disappointing. With the prawns, they should at least use the prawn shell to make sauce for the pastas. The pasta was tasteless, didn't even use enough garlic and olive oil to flavor it up. Seafood rice - Another disappointment. They used fish, small mussels and little bit of shrimp pieces along with some bigger whole shrimps and mussels. However, the rice was lack of the true seafood flavor that made from shell fish. They also added cilantro which overwhelmed the whatever left of seafood flavor. For many reasons other than just their fresh, delicious foods but the experience overall is stellar. It is a restaurant on a boat that's docked which means you can get there by car or by boat. In my case I went there by boat and I believe the only boating company allowed to dock there at the moment is Lisbon Private Tours and Transfers in Lisbon, Portugal (I will be adding and writing a review on them as well soon). From the moment of our arrival we were met by the owner and chef who is not only a gracious host but an incredible cook. The boat/restaurant has 3 levels. First level is the entrance level with lavatories and some seating and tables. The second level is their main dining room which is covered by surrounded by windows and is absolutely beautiful. The third level is the roof top dining area which provides spectacular views which are even more amazing at sunset. There we watched the sunset while having cocktails. We then moved to the second floor level for a spectacular meal chosen and prepared by the owner, starting from appetizers to fish entree followed by meat entree and finished off by a platter of various desserts. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection. My colleagues and I were in awe not only for the delicious taste of the food but the venue, presentation and the professional and welcoming staff. It was an experience I will always remember and will make sure to return and share the experience with as many people as I can.
