The prices are on the high side since the restaurant is located in a very expensive area of the island and also they have got a few awards by Veja. The food is not terrible but not worth the price tag. The shrimp with white sauce was just meh but the fried and grilled shrimp were delicious. The service was average. Servers were not too friendly and it took a long time for the food to come despite the place been empty.

The Toca de Jurere in the Centro was closed for renovations at the time and since I was in town, I needed to get my fix in. My fix being the paella and the Bacalhau de Toca. At this time of the year, we needed reservations but we were able to score some earlier in the evening. The main problem that I have with this location is that it's so far out of the way and it's really really hard to find. Seeing how we were staying in the center of Floripa, the cab ride was quite long and seeing how it was New Years, the ride back was even longer. The good thing was that the food was fantastic and completely filled me up. I need to take a small nap after my girlfriend and I destroyed the Bacalhau de Toca and a bottle of wine. We ordered our entrees. I had the lomo which is their filet mignon. I asked for medium and it came out perfectly cooked to my liking. Had a lot of flavor and generous portion of meat. The server also cut our steak for us and kept giving us heated sides. Since our side was rice and garlic bread they kept giving us a new batch of warm sides.
