There was no comparison to Restoration 1, they blew the competition away. The quoting process was easy, Eric came by right away and provided a very competitive price. He was easy to work with and helped me navigate the nightmare of working with my insurance company. Rob, their construction manager, sealed the deal though. His level of service was beyond compare. Every company said it would be impossible to match my existing flooring so I would need to replace all flooring because it's continuous throughout my condo. Naturally, I asked to see what they would be replacing it with. Rob came by with his bag of samples so I could see my options - my insurance contractor would not do this without first giving them the job, which is just crazy. Rob took one look at my floor and said "This is a nice floor, I don't have any standard samples you'll like. I'll have to track something down." And he did! He contacted a bunch of suppliers and a few weeks later he came to both my home and work to review the samples he found. He worked his ass off and made sure he found something I liked. The work itself was executed flawlessly. I decided to get my place painted while they were doing the floors, paid out of pocket since that wasn't covered by insurance. Again, great pricing on the painting. Very high quality work - they take their time and pay attention to the small details. I had a very small punchlist when they were done and they took care of it all without any complaints. I would both recommend them to others and I would use them again if I ever need work done. Once the painter team came in and the team to do the trim it was a disaster. Its been over 4 weeks and we can't get 1 room repaired. I heard the painter complaining cause they said he had to paint the hallway. Also I believe there is more mould but they cheaped out and didn't pull walls and floor away in second room which also had a leak. Recently my husband told the trim and paint team not to use our bathroom without permission in a strong way and now they've run off with their tails between their legs. Saying they dont feel safe they feel threatened. So we are being spitefully held hostage cause grown men can't take feedback. Their project manager is also weak to let them get away with it. Their cleaners are on point the 2nd ones Rachel and crew. The first cleaners were suss then I got Rachel. I know im notbthe only one I have friends who had them and told them not to come back.

Not to mention the holes in the caulking they used to try and cover up the seams. Upon our complaints and pleas for them to return and finish the job, they have ignored our texts and refused our calls. The only response we got was "buy crown molding to cover it up." So spend more than the $3,500 we gave you to fix your mistakes? Absolutely disgusting. We will be pursuing further action to see this scam resolved.

We had painters come in after the work was done and asked us if we were sure they wanted us to paint because the ceiling was in such bad condition. We then had an experienced professional contractor come in who also explained to us that the job would have to be completely redone. Following this we had to redo ALL of the work that was originally completed by this company. Costing us double the amount for getting the same job done and extending our renovation timelime by 2+ weeks. We reached out to Michael asking for money back or at the least for him to come by and see the work and fix it which he promised to do when he left on the last day of working on our house. I told Michael, we will have to go public with this information (we really didn't want to do this - hoping he would come and fix his work). Unfortunately, he got back to us offering $150 which wouldn't help us at all considering we had to pay thousands of dollars to get the work redone. Once we wrote a very honest review, Michael threatened to sue us unless we removed the review. I have never had such a horrifying experience with a professional contractor. I wish this ended up differently, even if they just came back to see the work and told us they didn't think they could fix it - I would have had a better experience. I have a lot of images of the work done, but I can't seem to post them under my review. Please beware of this company!

It was Christmas Day morning we discovered a slow leak in our basement. I called a handful of companies I found on Google, John's team was the only team to call me back the same afternoon and immediately offered me free advice on what to do myself. He didn't need to come same day, so we booked for next day. He arrived himself with all his tools to check for water and mould. For the last two months, he's been the only person who cares and has been following the details, everything from the emergency work to the things insurance missed in their own estimate of our house. He's one of those guys who works for the big insurance companies, they know him, his reputation and his estimates are realistic. He was able to get what we needed to restore the damage from the flood. No disputes, super smooth, I'm super happy. If it wasn't because of him I wouldn't have noticed the low estimate our insurance company offered at first.
