The various staff I've interacted with were all friendly and knew a lot about float therapy. The vibes of the building are clean and peaceful. I'm happy with the amount of options you have with regards to floating -- music off or on, lights off or on (in the water and in the room), etc. The building is pretty quiet, except one time I think they were doing maintenance or something down the hall and it was a bit noisy so I just turned on the fan to mask the noise and it solved the issue. The water is sometimes a little on the cooler side, but they have heaters by the mirror in the room when you get out so that helps you warm back up. I haven't used any of their other services yet, but I plan on it.

It's not that great of a deal when you calculate it, but I thought it would help them as these types of business have been hit hard by the pandemic. One morning I woke very ill, I had a massage scheduled. I've never canceled an appt before. I called to reschedule and was told about the cancellation fee, I was surprised they would have this during a pandemic when people should be encouraged to protect others and practice caution. I asked if they would consider waiving it since it's a pandemic, I don't know what I am sick with. I got an earful, basically it's the owners policy and that I could come in or pay the fee. I asked if it mattered to them if I got anyone sick, the response was they shouldn't be out of the money for the therapist. I explained I felt bad about that but it seems irresponsible as a business when you have a sick client. She then asked me if I would pay for the FULL massage and they would not charge the fee on top, and not come since I felt bad about canceling, WHAT?? I already paid hundreds upfront to try to support this business in the first place. I couldn't believe it. I would have paid the fee had they approached it with empathy, I was really scared since the illness came on so suddenly, but it was the way I was being treated. They ended up waiving the fee, I think it finally hit home that it's a pandemic and thousands have died, but they made sure to let me know next time I'd have to pay it...like there'd be a next time. I thought I was doing the right thing. What's also terrible, never once did they say "sorry you're not feeling well." The only concern was charging me the fee or for the full service again, they didn't care if I came in. I haven't been back and won't ever. I do not feel safe knowing there are likely people coming in that are sick because of this policy. I've found plenty of other wellness centers with a reasonable policy during this pandemic.

We live in Hudson and have not always been able to find quality sports medicine and training facilities. This place is great! They have many physical therapy professionals and trainers. The indoor soccer training arena is top notch and is connected to an excellent sports and strength training facility. Catalyst also has a partnership with the Hudson YMCA which allows both organizations to benefit from their respective strengths and facilities. The staff is also very professional and friendly. Although Catalyst is fairly new, the lobby was packed when we arrived at 11:00 am today. So word must be getting out. I highly recommend Catalyst for physical therapy, youth and adult sports medicine and training programs.

I have literally had massage therapy around the world, in more than a dozen countries, in various styles, but was delighted to find someone right here in Hudson Wisconsin, Lita Grezek, who offers first rate massage at a reasonable price. I first came to Croixville Family Chiropractic with some upper back issues and received some helpful treatment, but then discovered that massage services were available at the same location. After trying a session I felt that it was very helpful in conjunction with the chiro treatment, and kept going. After several times that's when the magic started to happen. Lita became more and more intuitive in her approach and identified some areas that sorely needed attention but had never been addressed. While she will always ask what areas I want to work on (or whole body), I've found it to be much more beneficial to let her explore and find areas she notices are in need. I've never gone regularly to anyone, but I have here and will continue to do so. A person who not only listens, but uses their own genuine care and concern and is not afraid to make an extra effort to understand and help restore your body back into it's own natural and unique balance.
