I suppose this goes to show: when the Student is ready, the Teacher will appear. I was seeking relief from [minor] physical pain. What I found: Rejuvenation of my belief in a Higher Power (which is Positive Energy), Reassurance that synchronizing my mind & body is the key to healing anything that needs healing, and Informed Directive on how I can utilize centuries-old holistic practices to reduce dependence on Western medicine (which is presently failing my family & I). I am at a place in my life where I am looking to heighten my awareness of self, to improve my quality of life, define my and nurture my strengths, and further my career. I am presently unhappy in my current role at a company that I hope to retire from. What is holding me back? A plateau, perhaps. My Biofeedback sessions with Julie have opened my mind, recharged my drive to grow, and expanded my desire for a sense of balance in my life. He also offices in Stillwater certain days of the week. Ryan is professional and well educated about the body. He has a calming presence and his goal is always to make your body feel better. Clinical massages are more of a holistic way of treating pain, tightness, etc (in my opinion). He also provides "regular" massages as well. With clinical massages he uses techniques like cupping, the amethyst mat, and other techniques like movements that would be used in physical therapy. He also finds spots on my body that I didn't realize were causing pain or were stiff. He always gets my back in working order and that's always my main objective. He's AWESOME! I also paid an additional fee to use the sauna afterwards. I love that extra feature. And hopefully one day in the future I'd love to try out Heather for some acupuncture.

BED BUGS & VERY Poor Management Response…read more My husband, our 2-year-old daughter, and I stayed here for a wedding from 9/19-9/21. My sister and her boyfriend stayed in the room across the hall. I'm sharing our direct experience so others can make an informed decision. The first night was uneventful, though our room had a strange smell and didn't feel very clean. We stayed because of the wedding. The night after we checked out, I found multiple bites all over my daughter's back. They became swollen and painful enough that she needed steroids. Around the same time, my sister--who was still in her room--found a live bug. She physically brought it to the front desk, and staff saw it and acknowledged it was a bug. I later noticed I also had several bites on my chest. We immediately began trying to reach the manager, Sanjay. For weeks, neither my sister nor I could get a call back. Staff repeatedly told us he was out of town. I finally reached him well over two weeks later. When we finally spoke, I felt he was dismissive and unprofessional, even when discussing our toddler's medical treatment. He refused a full refund--in fact, we never received any refund at all--despite the situation and the expenses we paid afterward (medical, hot-drying/ruining clothes, and hiring a detection dog to check our home and car). He also asked for my daughter's medical records, which I was not comfortable providing due to privacy. My husband later called, and that conversation also became extremely defensive. The manager claimed the bug my sister brought to the front desk was "a wood chip," even though she had watched it moving and the staff had already seen it and agreed with it being a bed bug. He repeatedly referred to my husband as "your lawyer husband," which came across as rude and unprofessional. I was also told that the health department had been contacted. When I called them myself, I was told they were not and haven't been notified at that time (this was nearly a MONTH later). They eventually checked only the rooms we stayed in--and that was about a month after our stay. When I spoke to Tammy the employee at the desk 3 days later, they had no record of any issue and the room was still open... which is highly concerning. At that point, we refused further direct communication with the manager and worked only through corporate. Even corporate staff expressed they were surprised that a refund hadn't been offered. Instead, we were eventually told we were placed on a "do not stay" list. Honestly, that's fine--after this experience, I would never return. This situation cost our family close to $1,000, not including the stress and worry over our toddler's reaction to the bites. And we never received any refund of any kind. I waited to write this until I had cooled down so I could be clear and factual. I can only speak to our firsthand experience, but based on that experience, I personally would not stay here again and strongly encourage others to use caution. I see another recent review also stated bed bugs were found (and that was not from my sister or her boyfriend), so we are not the only ones experiencing this. Please use caution when staying.

Second, if you want to try and sleep between the lights blinking all night whatever you do DO NOT let them put you anywhere near the elevator. It was so DAMN loud every time someone stopped on our floor. But what did it for me and had me checking out early was something I know the lady meant to be kind but I (women) travel for business 70% of the time by myself and this was my breaking point. My husband went down to get a bit of breakfast and had his hands full coming back to the room. The lady swiped her key and let him right in. Are you Kidding me!!!! So that's how easy it is to let someone into a room at your hotel? The least she could have done was taken his card in his hand and done it. She had NO idea if that was his room or not! Sorry, but if your guests safety is NOT your top priority I will make sure and do a review and let ALL women know they are not safe in your hotel. Please go somewhere else!

As our dog is a registered Emotional Support Animal. We gave the woman at the desk all our certification. She refused to waive the fee. The indoor pool is awesome. Breakfast is scant. No Kleenex to be found. The room was really small and outdated.

My room had two hand towels with poop on them. Since I checked in late, I did not notice this until…read morethe morning. When I reported it to the manager she came in my room took the two dirty towels and offered new ones, the room also had trash behind the nightstands. I was disgusted and felt like I slept in a dirty room. The manager treated me like I was making it up and argued with my timing of reporting it. This is not a clean hotel, poor customer service. Markas and Keo were very flexible with our ordering and scheduling process to ensure it got done on our schedule. Their installation/service team were top notch. The Joshes and Janvirer were a huge help and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for the install and getting the tub functional.
