I called the next day talking to Dominic who said he was a manager there. I explained to him I had zero reaction from the IPL treatment and he was cold and rude. In person he is polite but he is not a problem solver. I was more put off by his reaction then the treatment. I expected him to want to fix the problem but he just said his lasers are not very powerful and I shouldn't expect to see results. He welcomed me and told me I would be seen by Danielle once she finished with her previous appointment (I was early). Jeff offered me coffee and tea while I waited. After Danielle finished with her previous appointment, she called me back to the treatment room and we sat together talking about my goals and Danielle explained in depth about her personal experiences regarding her body image, about the machine, about treatment procedure, and about expectations. I appreciated the information and Danielle being upfront about not knowing how many sessions a client in another office had in between their progress photos. Because this machine is so new to her office, Danielle didn't have progress photos of her own clients (too short of a period). Nonetheless, I was excited about the procedure and my possible improvement in contouring. I say "possible" because 1 session isn't going to make a huge visible difference. The T-Shape procedure is awesome! You get some light suction and laser therapy that work simultaneously. Danielle and I chatted about various topics and it made the procedure go by so quickly (I was there for about an hour, I think). It felt so nice and reminded me of a skin rolfing massage procedure, but not as painful. You can go to any other office to get procedures done but Danielle and Jeff make their office the best option. They are a wife & husband team, so it's a small business and they are obviously an amazing team. I love Danielle's openness about her own personal journey because she connects with you (Honestly, when you see her, she is naturally gorgeous and it's intimidating) and you realize that she has the same intrusive thoughts that led you to her office.

In this clinic you can receive botox injections from the Chief of Plastic Surgery at CU Plastics (!!!). All at an incredible price - especially if you download and use the Brilliant Distinctions app which earns you rewards for every appt and purchase. Enter the building on the first floor and either take the stairs or elevator to the second floor where you'll check in to the CU Plastics Wellness Clinic. They offer free consultations with board certified, fellowship trained plastic surgeons; and have specialty trained staff to manage your needs - RN's, PA's and schedulers. Checking in is simple and you are greeted immediately upon entering clinic. The waiting area is nice and clean and overlooks the gym, Anschutz campus and floor below. Scheduling is very easy - I've never had to wait more than a few days to get in for my specific needs; and I'm currently seeing them for botox, juvederm and the obagi radiance peel regularly. CU and UCHealth employees receive 10% off; but the general public can download the Brilliant Distinctions app to receive similar savings and more! Obagi radiance peel is also buy one get one for the month of January. This peel is one that you can do over lunch - the peel itself only takes 12 minutes - and requires no downtime; you can be seen in public and go back to work immediately. Just don't forget your spf! Sara Douglass, PAC, and Dr. David Mathes (Chief of Plastics at CU) are phenomenal; and I enjoy seeing them for my regular appts. Nurse Jenn is amazing at follow up and answering questions - she's just on it.
