I was advised to purchase two one gallon cans plus a primer only to learn that paint was not correct for my project. Back to the store to exchange the paint for the proper paint- minus the primer which I didn't need - and again I asked if two one gallon cans were necessary. Yes I needed to purchase two gallons of paint for this project- in the end if I used half a pint of each color it was a lot!! So how did the employees decide on the materials I had to buy? They saw a senior citizen and decided to sell unnecessary materials??? Not sure but will definitely not be returning to this store - ever!!

Unfortunately, the manager was not…read more I bought a dented can hoping for a slight discount since I'm on a tight budget and most people would avoid buying denting cans, so I was doing them a favor. When I got to the register the lady (super nice) tried to get the managers attention to ask for approval, but he was too busy watching the Phillies game to care. She had to raise her voice three times before he heard her - he was only 5 feet away!!! After she asked, he said no, and turned back to watch the game. He could tell moments after (probably between plays) that I was annoyed and asked if I wanted to switch cans, but I was so exhausted and frustrated that he cared more about the game than his customer, I just left. The discount didn't matter, what mattered was that he didn't care enough to pay attention when he was needed. Hope the stupid game (yeah, I said it) was worth losing a customer.

Little did I know that there are a millions options for types of paint (I'm a super novice when it comes to painting). Dan walked me through the different options and after understanding our needs recommended the "Super" paint. I wanted a matte finish and he talked me through it and agreed on the finish type. I walked in 30 minutes later and he had the paint ready and waiting. He spoke with me about the supplies I had and let me know I was good to go with the exception of two roller pads.
