I loooove this nursery to bring some beautiful color and plants to my home! Every year, I pick up one of their Bridal Veil plants, and usually one or two other perennials. I have never had issues with plants I've purchased here. No root rot, not stressed out, no bugs or disease. Every plant I bring home is always happy to be at my house. The service here is very good and they're helpful, but aren't hovering. I find that the quality of their plants is very good for the price, even if sometimes the price feels a tiny bit high. (Sure, you could go to Home Depot and get something cheap, but for a few extra dollars, I prefer more mature plants that are hard to kill considering my lack of green thumb.) Inside, their building is filled with everything you may need: seed, fertilizer, pesticide, tools, patio furniture, fountains, garden stakes, garden decorations - you name it! It's fun to walk around especially after being inspired by their incredible variety outside. They also sell flowers and other items to brighten someone's day if they are at the Virtua Voorhees hospital across the way, but I personally haven't tried their bouquets. It's easy to order online, the delivery is always on time, and the recipient loves them and says they are beautiful. Recently I had a personal complication after placing my order and Katie was very helpful. So I attempted to order Mother's Day flowers from this vendor. During the payment part of the order, I received an error message in the top right corner of the page, "we cannot process your order at this time. Please try again later." So I did. After the same message appeared, I bagged it and moved on to another vendor. Later, I received a confirmation email from Green Leaf; however, I never actually concluded my order, either time, because I was alerted that there was an error. So the recipient received flowers from both vendors (the total cost of which was $198). When I alerted Green Leaf, I began a nearly three month saga only to be told that "management" reviewed my case and determined there was no error on their end, the flowers were delivered, and I would have to eat the cost. I ordered a corsage. The employee misunderstood me on the phone because she put in an order for a bouquet. We didn't realize the misunderstanding until we picked it up. When I asked her about it, she was immediately defensive and said that I "never said the word 'corsage'." (I did.) She then said that I should have known better because of the price. This was my first time ordering a corsage, so I didn't know what price to expect. I wasn't angry about the misunderstanding. I'm angry about how she responded to it. read more

We traveled from Delaware to purchase a new artificial tree. They had what we wanted, and we ended up buying a 7 1/2 foot and a 4 foot Prelit tree. They both look beautiful in our home! The staff was polite and very helpful and helped us load the trees into our vehicle! It was worth the trip! read more

We were thrilled to discover Green Lea Garden Center and all of the Polywood outdoor furniture they had on sight that we could look at, sit in and determine exactly what options would fit our needs. They had samples of every item, each table and chair height (bar, counter and dining) and sample fabrics to choose from. I recently ordered a Polywood Rocking Chair and table set from Green Lea. Complicating my order was that I was going to move during the waiting period of the order. Due to the pandemic the orders were backed up 14-16 weeks since they did not have what I wanted in stock. No one did with the manufacturer of this product and the manufacturers website had the same waiting period as well as price. Not only did they (Rob) take care of everything and arrange shipment from the manufacturer to my new house out of state, they also had a cheaper price than the local dealer near my new home by a considerable amount. They had the same cost as ordering it through the manufacturers website and there was no shipping charge. Additionally Rob kept me updated with the status and delivery/ tracking information as well. It was a great transaction and purchase experience and I would do business with Rob and Green Lea anytime. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I just had the absolute worst experience there. The owner, Bob was very rude to my husband and me. We recently bought furniture from his competitor, and considered buying our umbrella from Green Lea since we needed it promptly and his was in stock. When we asked for service he was very short with us, as if he didn't want to answer any questions. When my husband asked why he was so rude, he told us we should just go and buy our umbrella somewhere else. As consumers, we are not obligated to any one retailer. It's a free and open market. And I don't expect to be treated disrespectfully for my choice. Green Lea certainly missed out on the opportunity to make $1600. Their loss. Go to Viking instead. They have the same products and at least they value your business. read more

Purchased a pre- lit tree last year. 3 sets of lights went out during the Holiday season. Stored it until a couple of weeks ago, and tried to fix the problem. After an unsuccessful attempt, returned it to the store. I was told they would look at it and upon our return to the store, we were told that the whole string of bulbs were bad, and that we may want to consider purchasing a new tree for $400.00. I asked if there was a warranty and was told they would give new bulbs and I would have to replace each one individually, which would take about 4 hours. The other option was to purchase 3 sets and restring the lights. I purchased the 3 sets and left the store. I sent a E mail and voiced my concerns and have received no response. So much for a warranty or the vendor accepting responsibility for a faulty product. As far as future business, I don't think that would be an option read more

I have ordered flowers from them for years. I never had a problem...until this time. I ordered flowers for my Mom and they were not done correctly. I order the same thing for her every year at the same place. They changed the order without contacting me. When I called to ask what happened, they said they did not seem sorry for what happened. I asked for a partial refund and was told they could refund $3.00. I said not acceptable. They also said they would go to my Mother's house and ask her for the flowers back and re do them. Excellent service and product! We have used Green Lea florist 4 times over the past few years. For showers and for funerals they have been wonderful to work with, accommodating in their price and flower options, and the final product has always been great. We have worked with Katie who has provided stellar customer service. She is always accessible by email, phone or when I have stopped in the store. The florists have been creative in designing the perfect arrangements and have cooperated with us bringing our own glass containers to save on our end. My cousin had her baby girl, late on a Friday afternoon. I was at work and wanted to be the first to congratulate her, . I knew it was last minute, but they were able to deliver a stuffed teddy bear and pink flower arrangement right away! This place is not very nice. I understand the desire to shop local and patronize a small business. But the employees in here are not very friendly. They hire teenagers from town who really don't want to help you either. Not only was the arrangement absolutely stunning, the customer service was outstanding. He wanted to make my day special, ordered the arrangement in December for morning delivery the week before Valentines but gave my OLD work address. Green Lea Florist spoke with a variety of my co-workers, trying to keep me surprised and get the flowers to me before the end of the work day. They were successful. I rate this place with ZERO stars. This place has high prices and the customer service is horrible. My husband and I had the worst experience purchasing a tree from this nursery. We wanted to discuss the use of a coupon we clipped from the Clipper Magazine. The owner and his nephew was downright rude. The two men did not want to discuss the coupon and got loud and rowdy with us. I will NEVER go back to this establishment. By the way, the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. read more

We ordered our patio furniture in late March 2014 and were told to expect delivery in 6 weeks. 13 weeks after order we finally took delivery. The delivery team seemed to be inexperienced at furniture delivery but not at wall scraping and banging. When the damaged was pointed out they claimed " it comes with the territory ". At this point we asked that they leave the piece on an outside deck and call it a day. I placed a call to our salesman Rob that afternoon to let him know about the walls and lack of concern of the delivery team. I received a call the next day from someone named Jimmy who immediately started telling & yelling to me about what good delivery people he had and that they "are not in the furniture moving business". After I repeated the "comes with the territory" claim of his delivery team he became irate and indicating that I had made the whole thing up and that we were basically lying about what had happened. Jimmy continued his yelling and said he had enough and hung up the phone. We paid a lot of money for this furniture set and to be treated like this from someone in authority is truly unbelievable . I wish we had access to the review posted on 6/21/2014 because if we had we definitely would not have purchased from this unconcerning vendor. read more

The lovely staff at Green Lea recently did the flower arrangements for my daughter's bridal shower. Everyone was so helpful, they couldn't have been more accommodating. They were enthusiastic about what I wanted, and were very creative in executing my ideas. They did about a dozen arrangements plus a "wrist lei" - all were beautiful. Our guests all commented on how much they loved them. Everything was delivered to the restaurant right on time. Their prices, as always, were extremely reasonable.
