She visited us after we brought our baby home and gave us a personalized gift bag, which was so unexpected and sweet. With our permission, she took sharable and discreet pictures during our birth experience and one of our favorites is right after he was born of us all together. She also sent the timeline she documented of when things were happening during the birth and at what time - something very special I had not even thought of! Even before we met Erica, the owner, Vicki, helped us personally with some paperwork we needed for our insurance company and I knew from the beginning this team would go out of their way to help new moms. All my kids have been "water safe" by 2 1/2. Im disappointed this program does not enforce water safety. I spoke with the manager, and teachers to push him, and all they did was continue play time. Not the program for life and death water safety. I really wish there was a better program here. I will have to hire a teacher to come to my home once the pool is complete. Love the facility, clean, great amenities. Program is mediocre, and i found a waste of my time and money.

My situation was very different than most and I'm so glad that she decided to take me on as a client. At the time, I was traveling the county with my husband and 3 kids full time in an RV and knew that I'd be in the Nashville area when I'd be close to my due date. Maggie agreed to take me on at around 27 weeks when so many other midwifes backed out because of my different living situation. An RV birth wasn't easy, but Maggie was so wonderful and positive throughout the entire experience. I didn't end up getting my water birth as I had planned; as RV water heaters just don't cut it, but Maggie and Chelsea made me feel calm and very comfortable. They're a fantastic team!! I wish I could have used her for each of my pregnancies and any future pregnancies.

Easy and plentiful parking. Tiny concession stand area, and great stage and seating area. Very tight though! I would not want to be in any row except the front row as no space on the sides, only one single narrow middle row, so you are literally trapped like in an airplane trying to deplane. I'm not claustrophobic by any means, but this was a little tight for me. Aside from that -- fantastic venue! Can't wait for another show!

When my wife voiced our concerns after our daughter was truly reluctant to continue at the camp after just two days, we received the reply posted below from Sondra, which placed the blame back on our child. And we were rather incensed that the seemingly admitted/acknowledged loud tone of voice repeatedly directed towards our child (as well as the child of family friends' who also signed up to be a student/camper) was excused away as being necessary to "project our voices to be heard" to "move 40 kids on a stage". Really? Seriously? It's not a license to yell at kids. We were looking for a fun, fulfilling, challenging event for our daughter to continue her growth during the summer break. Such was not our experience with Act Too. EMAIL REPLY DATED July 10, 2024: Thank you for the email and we are sorry that [REDACTED] will not be completing the week with us. Honestly, in 22 years of doing these camps, we have never had anyone complain about our space. We give the kids several breaks, but we are a training program and we do dance them as well. The floors we have are dance floors and have a bounce to them to prevent injuries. I'm sorry to hear that she was hurting. Ms. Erica is an excellent teacher and works very hard at having the children feel successful. I'm sorry to hear the she was scared of Ms. Erica- needless to say we are not in the business of scaring children. We want them to love musical theatre. Camp should be fun, but with a musical theatre camp there is work expected as well. Trying to move around 40 kids on a stage can be challenging and at times we all have to project our voices to be heard. Hiring a Doula was one of the best decisions we made when hearing that I was pregnant for my first…read moretime. We interviewed quite a few doulas in Nashville and really fell in love with Amandine. Not only was her French accent soothing and comforting, she was warm and treated me like a sister. During birth she helped navigate the hospitals standards and advocated on my behalf during labor so I could have the birth I wanted. My husband really loved having a resource to lean on during labor and she gave us space when we needed. She was so kind to provide notes about the birth in the case I wanted to write my son's birth story, and offered a lot of help postpartum when I had trouble breastfeeding. Mama Moon is the best!

Having Amandine before and during labor and delivery was so helpful. We also had her for postpartum…read moreservices. Before my due date, I would periodically meet with her, and she was always able to share helpful pregnancy advice. She also gave us a crash course in what to expect for L&D. She also gives great prenatal massages! Once I went into labor, I was in constant contact with her that day up until we were ready for her to come and meet us at the hospital. I ended up having a complicated and scary delivery. Everything worked out luckily in the end. Amandine was there every step of the way to lend a hand and comfort us during the process. She also is great at helping you relax and breathe and a great coach during the pushing stage. Having a doula as an extra partner in the process really helped my husband focus on me and the process too, as having her there took a lot of stress off him. For postpartum services, she was available once we were all at home to help both during the daytime and at night. This is super helpful when you are trying to recover and just need that extra nap and extra set of hands to help with laundry, dishes, small errands, etc. She also is so gentle and experienced with babies. I highly recommend Amandine if you are looking for a birthing and/or postpartum doula!
