My son has started coming to Emmy (sp) for a couple of months now. He's pretty picky with his hairstyles so for him to choose someone who does what he expects is a good barber to me. Fade is good and the cleanliness after a customer isn't so bad then not brushing or cleaning their tools after each customer right? Not sure if walk-ins are welcome, although it was my first time walking in this time around and not son had made an appointment days prior. Very busy, everyone had someone in their chair. Inside is spacious for every barber to have their own section, clean and cute styling. Only reason for the 4 stars, you walk in and no one greets you. They look up and continue on. You just sit down and I guess your barber knows who they have appointments with. Maybe just me, but on the bright side they all seem to be good at cutting hair. Payments made easy, my sons barber takes Cash, Zelle and Venmo. If paying with a credit card, they do charge a percentage. read more

He was super attentive, friendly, on-time, and made sure that he understood what kind of haircut/look I wanted. Took my boys in for a last minute haircut & they were immediately in the chairs of Kevin & Emi. My boys mentioned how at ease they were asking for what they wanted & engaged in conversation -- which they rarely do with their barbers. The shop is lit up with some sort of ring lights & it's really nice inside. The outdoor signage is not big enough to really advertise. The service and environment were on point. I highly recommend Emi at Resurrected Barbershop! We have gone to sports clips and all the kids places. Never had any luck. My five year old was so scared and struggled to sit still. He would always get scratched, ears nicked or the cuts were choppy and cry. Then, we would have to resort to the shaved head look. My son has cowlicks and a peak hairline, so I really need an experienced barber who could cut boys hair. We then found Emiliano and I'm thrilled we now have a barber that my son loves and is not scared of. Emi is very friendly, patient and does an amazing job with boys haircuts. His fade is impressive. They will even put on any show your kid wants to watch. We go every 2 weeks and it's affordable compared to the other options for kids. Definitely give Emi and this barbershop a try. read more

The place is busy but walked in and no acknowledgement what's so ever, waited for a bit and still nothing. I guess they only acknowledge people who have appointments. Not one barber said anything while they passed us to get their clients. I get they have their own clientele but someone should've let us know they weren't accepting walk in's that day. read more

I ended up booking this location after my kids previous barber cancelled on us last minute and I had to quickly search for someone. They didn't know me and still had compassion and tried to get us in. We were extremely happy. They were very patient with my 4 year old and did a very clean nice cut on him and my 10 year old. I'm picky with the fades and they exceeded all expectations. My kids have gone back a few times with different barbers and great experience all around. My husband now goes here as well and gets cut by Emi. Both Emi and the owner are very nice and extremely welcoming. The shop is also very clean. Definitely recommend. read more

Ehh... it's hard to find that one barber this kid just loves. Unfortunately, my son's barber moved, and that was what we got stuck doing, so we jumped on YELP. They have excellent prices and a great layout, and the owner really cares about his clients hence the 3.5 stars. Sad to say, though, we haven't found the right one, BUT the good news is they have other barbers that rent their space there that we can try!!!! Terrible! I went in asking for a a fade in a certain area and showing with a two fingers width how much I want cut from the bottom and he cut like 4-4.5 fingers width and it was a complete bald fade of 4-5 inches all the way around. I couldn't see anything but it felt like it was going okay until he was done and turned me around. I yelled and said This is not was I asked for!! And he was like of yeah it will grow back and I said I only wanted two fingers width bald faded around I showed you! I was so mad because I had big trip coming up. For around 2 years, my dad cut my hair. I finally came in to get a cut and I was treated well. I've never felt so comfortable getting a haircut, and my barber was the reason for my comfort. Emi was genuine and deep within our conversation. He may not be the best among the other barbers but what stood out about him was his heart and the joy he had for being a barber. He loves what he does and is always looking to get better. Not to mention, he loves his job because he's all for the people, with the goal of making somebody look good and seeing them happy.
