From the moment we walked in, in shock with immediate grief, to following the burial, they walked us through every aspect of the process. We were able to create a beautiful memorial in remembrance of our beloved mother that was true to her uniqueness and according to her wishes. Special thanks to David, Jane, Vera, Stephanie, Elida, Michael, Kirk, and I know there are several others I'm forgetting. All the attendants were professional and proactive. It was also the only space we visited (of five or six) that was large enough to hold a sanctuary-like service, given we were not using a church building for our service. I have received no phone call and no letter from Roselawn, but when I inquired, I was told that the red tagged plantings will have to conform by Aug 15th. That's exactly two weeks notice. My little 14" by 36" garden was perfectly fine for 18 years but now, due to a change of board members, suddenly over night my planting does not conform.

They had a kitchen, plenty of restrooms and space for a good audience to come. Parking was a little hectic since there was not much room for the crowd and it's local roads were a bit hazardous since it hadn't been plowed. She was given pictures of my husband in his casket she was sent obituary copies she was also given the address, date, and time of his burial which I wanted to be very private. I later learned the funeral home was supposed to persuade me from having my husband cremated which I did have done at another funeral home but he ( the director ) for some odd reason felt the need to remain in close contact with her throughout the entire ordeal.
