They have technology for a slideshow or video presentation, but the tech is very outdated and the staff barely knows how to operate it. I had to do most of it myself, as a relative of the deceased. They maaaaybe understand this now and may look into improving the situation.

Absolutely do NOT recommend!! My parent had prepaid several…read moreyears ago in hopes to make their passing easier on us. First, it took 5 days, yes FIVE DAYS, after CSofMN had the deceased's body before we could even meet with the funeral director to get things started. During that meeting, we learned that they didn't even have the deceased's information loaded into their database despite my parent having provided all of that information years earlier. So we had to get that done before we learned that it was going to take 2 weeks, yes TWO WEEKS, for us to get the cremains. WTF??! Then when we went to pick up the cremains, we were to receive a flag as my parent was a veteran. When they brought us the cremains at their facility, they literally handed us the flag haphazardly wadded up. How disrespectful!! Finally, we had ordered the death certificates through them. It took over a month, yes a MONTH, after we had picked up the cremains for the certificates to arrive only after we made a call to them. We learned that they had been sitting in the out box for nearly 2 weeks, yes TWO WEEKS. The entire experience was awful during a very difficult time. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

Losing loved ones is never easy so having someone who cares and has great character was very assuring those two times in our life. Paul (and his staff) did an outstanding job with both my Dad and Mom's funeral/celebration services. From start to finish, Paul was kind, comforting, very available and highly attentive. Over the years, I've attended many services at their chapels. I highly recommend them. Paul is a consummate professional. No one better!

During Labor Day weekend this year, I had the incredibly heartbreaking experience of taking my…read morefather off of life support. Soon after, I spoke with my family about next steps, and my brother found Huber Funeral Homes. Of all the places he called, Chad, the program director there, picked up immediately. He said he could meet with us the morning of Labor day (the next day) to review booking a date, pricing, and answer any questions. We had the meeting around 10 am, and he professionally arrived early in a suit. He gave us the information, and we felt comfortable enough to go with him. He also gave us a folder with all the information not only about the funeral, but also about what to do after one loses someone. I appreciated that. The day before the funeral, Huber Funeral Homes coordinated with the hospital (where my father passed), embalmed him, and transported him to their location. We had to think of so much that day; I'm glad they took care of everything. The day and a half I had to organize the funeral, I worked with Chat to have a program printed, and he gave me so much flexibility in getting those materials to him. When I arrived, they already had my father, flowers, and everything else setup. They accommodated us and our request, for a Buddhist funeral, too. After the ceremony and reception, they coordinated a funeral procession to Lakewood Cemetery where they cremated my father. They hired law enforcement to literally stop traffic, for us, as we traveled from Eden Prairie to Minneapolis. I hate the fact I'm writing a review about a Funeral Home, but Huber is a business, with locals working there, too. And they did such a good job that when an awful event like the loss of a loved-one occurs, trust Huber Funeral Homes to help make the worst time in your life a little bit easier.

I was disappointed with several things working with this funeral home. The man that helped us when…read moremy brother came to prepay had to print the quote 3 times due to errors we caught. he couldn't tell us how many people the chapel held! Then shortly after when my brother died we met with the funeral director and, thankfully, they hadn't prepared his body for viewing like his notes said because we clearly stated he was to be cremated. I was most disappointed in this funeral director. -Bert was not present when we arrived to set up. I personally had to add more chairs outside as we were expecting a lot of people. After which, I was hot and asked if they had a bottle of water. " we only have a few" was my reply. There were no " reserved" signs on the pews and the staff didn't know where to find them. During visitation, Jim told me the funeral director wanted to see me. Bert was sitting in the office and told me he needed a receipt from our Caterer. ( really?) The Caterer hadn't arrived yet. After some discussion I said" well what if I don't get one TODAY?" Then he said he could take care of it later. After the service, he did not help direct people at all, but told me twice they wouldn't go into the reception area until I did. Well, I chose to direct my son's family in to start as I was going to wait until the guests were served to eat. Overall, not impressed with Bert.
