I unfortunately did not have a good experience with Marcelino and his team. It started off great…read morewhen he knew they had a big money job coming when I had them cut down and grind stumps on a good amount of large trees. Marcelino was responsive at first until the the job was complete. They did break my sprinklers and bumped into my water system but they were able to repair it the same day. One of the workers also broke my outdoor exercise machine as they were fooling around on it. I let these 2 things slide. What I found out later was that they did not complete the job. They were supposed to grind some stumps but buried it with all of the mulch instead hoping I wouldn't find out. This is when I attempted to get a hold of Marcelino to which he ignored me A LOT. I've remained extremely polite through this process but he still brushed me off continuously and did not pick up any of my phone calls. After letting him know that he will be seeing me in court, he finally responded and sent a guy to finish the job and offered to do some more work that day for free. Then they NO SHOW me not once, but TWICE on appointments. I've taken work off to make sure I was home for them to come which was a complete waste of my time and money. When one of his guys finally shows up with the minimum amount of equipment to do that single job, none of the extra free work promised was delivered. He then disappears after I show him the work he needed to do. So I texted Marcelino again to see where he went to which he said he needed to fill up gas. This I understand but where is the communication? It almost felt like he ran away because he found out he wasn't getting paid for this particular job. After he was done, I continued to try to get a hold of Marcelino for the work that his guy promised but couldn't deliver due to the lack of equipment but Marcelino has ignored me ever since. Anyway, I can go on forever about this business but I'll wrap it up - I'm giving them 2 stars, added one because they actually completed the job after me having to chase them down. But to summarize the way these guys do business: unprofessional, scammy, dishonest, greedy, and horrible communication. I had a lemon tree that was swarmed with bees and it was also scary looking at night. I just wanted it removed. I was given a reasonable estimate and proceed. Francisco and his crew came that weekend to cut the tree. They picked up everything afterwards too . It doesn't even look I had a tree in that spot before . There was also this ugly rosebush that I did not like either. I had asked Francisco if he can also take that down too. He said yes and took it down that moment after the tree. They were great at working around our schedule to get their team out here as soon as possible and once they got here they got straight to work!
