So, my daughter and I made our way in to see what kind of neat treasures we can find. Walking in, it's quite overwhelming. It's a good sized store front but they have a lot crammed onto the sales floor. We made our way through through the store and they have some pretty pieces available. Tea sets, furniture, clothes. Surprisingly, I was quite taken back on some of the pricing her. I found an old birdcage and they wanted almost 200 bucks for it. That is some crazy business. Some salad bowl sets were 10 cause I couldn't imagine pricing anything above that. A tea set for 175 dollars. As full the store was with product, nothing really stuck out to me. To be honest, this place had a thrift store vibe with crazy pricing. Is everything vintage? No. It's a neat store if you're willing to maneuver your way through all the clutter. The pricing is out of this world and you can probably find similar things at the Idaho Youth Ranch for a quarter of the cost. It was neat that we made it in to check out but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

We headed to 3peat after brunch to see what kind of dope stuff they had. This store front is so nice! Walking in, everything is so organized and clean. The shoes were perfectly displayed on the wall. There were racks of clothing that were all nicely hung. For a small venue, everything was nicely spaced. You didn't feel crowded. My husband did find a couple pair of rare sneakers but unfortunately they were not his size. It was cool that they had them and that we got to check them out in person. They have a great variety of sneakers for those sneaker heads out there or sneaker collectors. We didn't really check out what kind of clothing they had but from all the customers looking, I'm sure they had some cool stuff. I'm sure we will be back to see what new sneakers they get in. I was conveniently in the area today all by myself so I made it a point to check out this charming store! As soon as I parked my car, I knew I was going to fall in love with this store. Everything set up on the front porch was completely stunning. Everything was strategically placed and thoughtfully decorated. It was hard not to buy all the outside pieces cause of how beautiful everything was staged. I need to front of my house to look like this front porch. This store is just stunning. Country chic decor is the way to my heart. The flowers. Aged furniture. The flowers. The small details and delicate placement of everything. It was all breathtaking. You truly have to walk slow throughout the store so you don't miss anything. I found a couple brass candleholders that caught my eye. They were so pretty but a tad bigger than I would have liked. The sweet associate guided me back to an area in the back that I had already checked out. Of course I didn't walk slow enough cause I missed the most perfect set of brass candleholders. I also found the daintiest glass candleholder that was a glass bird. I found some smaller candles that would be the perfect addition to the candleholders. I was excited to add these beautiful pieces to my home. Besides the candles, I also found a gorgeous print that I'm going to place on my living room wall that I'm redecorating. It's been fun curating all these beautiful pieces and it was great that I found one here. I look forward to finding the perfect frame for this picture. The gals that were working today were all kind! Stores like Sweet Tea Living could be a hit or miss with customer service. I have been ignored at some local joints in town. It's sad to be treated like that when you're trying to support a local business. Sweet Tea Living is complete perfection from their customer service, the venue and all their fabulous goodies. But they have a lot of competition in the area as resale stores go so one thinks they'd be interested in top notch help for both buyers and possible consigners. We were in for both reasons, actually. I'm shopping for accessories for particular home location. And I have a hand knotted, vegetable dyed, Pakistan originated, wool area rug that I'm hoping to consign. They did have some rolled rugs standing in the store, so it may be they would take mine. But since the person working there ignored us, only a cursory hello in response to my "hi" to her, I think I'll continue looking for both consignment and buying. Ending on a high note, the place is spotless and some of the accessory items look as if new. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: Private lot. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Once you get in the door, the store is all on one floor with mostly ample clearances between items. But the parking lot here is another of many Boise area examples of parking that does not meet Federal ADA rules or Idaho Accessibility Building Code minimums. Neither for scope nor for design. However, that failure is the the strip mall owner's and not the store's. 3) NEIGHBOR: At the other end of the strip mall you'll find Model Home Furnishings which is recently under new ownership. I do miss the massive costume location on Chinden but it's nice to have The Reveal located on the upper level of Boise Towne Square. It occupies the former Justice location and has some interesting pieces that are not found at the pop-up locations at this time of year. The support staff is super friendly and be sure to take some time to check what there is to buy and what there is to rent. That's right, you can rent costumes. Some are complete and others are just pieces or accessories that you may need. There is one spectacular Bridgertonseque jacket that is stunning. The price may be steep but it's a one-of-a-kind handmade piece. Putting it on was majestic and I instantly felt like royalty. There are lots of usual Halloween stuff here too and its a local business, so pop in and check them out. The best part is that after the Halloween Season, they will still be around while those guys will disappear into the night.
