We can't say enough wonderful things about our experience with this elopement company. From start…read moreto finish, everything was effortless and beautifully orchestrated. We chose to elope in Tennessee on the breathtaking Foothills Parkway, surrounded by our closest friends and family, and it was more perfect than we ever imagined. The team took care of every detail so we could truly just show up and focus on each other and the moment. The view was stunning--mountains stretching as far as the eye could see--and it created the most romantic, peaceful backdrop for our vows. What touched us most was how personal and stress-free the entire experience felt. No chaos, no pressure--just love and nature and the people who matter most to us. The photos we received were absolutely beautiful and captured every emotion of the day. We'll treasure them forever. If you're looking for a meaningful, simple, and unforgettable way to say "I do," this is it. Thank you for helping us begin our forever in such a magical way!

Everything was fine and dandy until my fiancé fell ill and we requested to cancel our wedding…read morebecause of unexpected medical bills. Just know they are firm on the 35% retainer which ended up being over $700 for us- they will not refund any of it and said that they already paid the venue, etc. So I asked for a breakdown of where my money was spent and Alisha refused to provide that. She said my attorney can contact her for a copy. Regardless of the circumstances, they will not work with you. So don't book unless you are 100% sure or you are ok with losing a lot of money should something come up. We may end up keeping our date so as not to lose that money if we can scrape up the funds to still go.

She has a wonderful way with words and is an incredibly talented writer, which made everything feel natural and heartfelt. After the ceremony, we enjoyed having lunch together and getting to know her even better. Finding out she's originally from New Orleans, just like we are, gave us so much to talk about and made the whole experience even more special. Hannah is kind, personable, and easy to work with from start to finish. If you're looking for someone who will create a beautiful, customized ceremony and make you feel completely at ease on your wedding day, we highly recommend Heartlight Weddings. Thank you, Hannah, for helping make our day so memorable!

Well the good news is our paperwork was filed by Hannah and we received our marriage certificate…read moreand all is well. However, we were a bit disappointed that when it came time for us to exchange rings during our 10 minute ceremony, Hannah did not know our names, or have them written down. She had to ask each of us what our names were mid-ceremony. We are pretty lighthearted people so we laughed it off and didn't make a huge deal out of it at the time. Then, when the short ceremony was over and she went to announce us as Mr. & Mrs......she did not know our last name and again had to interrupt the ceremony to ask us. We totally understand that mistakes happen and we aren't all bent out of shape about it but for $250 for such a short ceremony I feel knowing our names during the ceremony should be priority #1. UPDATE - I had given Hannah a generous 3 star review on a wedding vendor review site. Unfortunately she responded in a way that seemed to cast the blame on myself and my wife for her not knowing our names. From her response: "I did approach you prior to the ceremony to introduce myself and see if you had any last minute questions or concerns. You were not interested in speaking with me and walked off. Possibly a short conversation would have made your name more prominent in my mind." This quote is mind-boggling and its down right shameful . I guess its our fault that we didn't ask you if you remember our names after you accepted our $250 payment for 10 minutes of work. I stood and spoke with you for at least five to ten minutes at the altar prior to the ceremony. The fact that you are blaming us for your lack of professionalism is pathetic.
