I've been looking for a new hairdo home since moving here in 2014. The third time was the charm! Andrea did her magic on my dyed, wirey, thinning salt and pepper hair. I just turned 60 and my hair isn't what it used to be! She used a couple of colors to blend a base color that minimized my complexion's pink undertones. She wove the highlight strands exactly as I asked, and it looks natural, like a child's sun-bleached hair after a summer outdoors. She deep conditioned my dye and chlorine-damaged strands and they are still silky three days later! The energy in the salon was warm, fun and not too loud (which bothers my hearing). I have been going to Andrea at Revamps for 2 years now since we moved here. I have never written a review on yelp before but I felt I needed to give this salon and this girl some well deserved credit! I used to hate to get my hair done, now I look forward to it. Not to mention my hair has never been better! They actually care about you and really want you to look your best and also have a really pleasant time that you spend when you are there. I feel so comfortable and relaxed when I go in and everyone who works there is amazingly sweet and talented too. My hairdresser of 25 years retired. I needed a new one and hoped I could find one close to home. I decided to try Andrea at Revamps, since she is only one mile from my house. I got REALLY lucky! Andrea is fabulous at cutting hair. I then decided I wanted to try a little bit of color.. I had never tried permanent color before, so I was very nervous. Andrea talked to me about what I wanted and then went to work mixing up my special colors. I love my new colors! Andrea's mom Lucy also works at Revamps and her clients look great when they leave! Lucy is a sweetheart and fun to visit with, just like Andrea. It's fun to feel like you are going to visit good friends and get your hair done at the same time. Andrea has been coloring and cutting my hair since 2005. She is an excellent colorist - I've had single color and multi-color highlights. Whether I want to keep my hair long or shorten it up - she always provides exactly what I'm looking for and I am always happy with the results. My hair is in great shape, remaining soft and healthy - not over processed. While I'm getting my hair done I also get a manicure from Roberta - she keeps my nails looking great.
