I had Split Ends do hair and makeup for my wedding and it was perfect! Lily had me absolutely…read moreglowing with my makeup and I have never felt more amazing. She kept me calm and was so welcoming and kind. I really wanted her to stay for the whole day. Theresa was phenomenal with my hair and it stayed in throughout all my wild dance moves. The rest of the Split Ends crew (Jesamy and Morgan) were great as well!

I came to Split Ends in June 2025 for a color correction, transitioning from red to brown. During…read moremy consultation, the stylist recommended bleaching my entire head and assured me that the integrity of my hair would remain intact. Although I already had some previously lightened pieces, my entire head was re-bleached. Unfortunately, the condition of my hair after the service was severely compromised. When I left the salon, my hair felt almost waxy, smelled strongly of bleach for about a week, and experienced significant breakage and damage. I ultimately had to see another stylist to address the damage, and we had to cut 7 inches of my hair to remove the most compromised sections and prevent further breakage. On top of that, I paid $600 for the service. To be fair, the salon itself is beautiful and the staff were friendly. However, the quality and outcome of my particular service were extremely disappointing. It has taken me over a year of care and recovery to get my hair back to a healthier condition, and my hair still has not returned to the length it was before this appointment. I understand that color correction can be a complicated process, but I feel the condition of my hair afterward was unacceptable, especially given the assurance I received during my consultation and the $600 cost of the service. I'm sharing my experience so that anyone considering a major color correction understands the potential risks and makes an informed decision.

I've been going to Town & Country Salon in Rheems for about five years now, and at first I really…read moreloved the haircuts I was getting for a really great price. Everyone who works there is incredibly nice and helpful, and I really loved the location and overall vibe of the salon. However, the stylist I usually booked appointments with left, and since then I've been occasionally going when I'm in town and booking haircuts with anyone who is available. Over 2 years, the several haircuts I've gotten have progressively gotten worse. For the first few instances, at least 5 inches of my hair were chopped after asking for 2. But the last time I went truly made me decide that I can never go back. This time, I asked for a trim and to freshen up my layers and was clear that I did not want to shorten my face framing pieces. The stylist chopped layers only on the left side of my head that were less than half of the length of my hair. This uniform layer was cut for the entire left front half of my hair. On the other side, the same thing was done for a slightly smaller section, but any blending of this layering was very choppy. The layers around my head are at some places shorter than the chopped section from the left side of my hair. On top of this, the blending is so choppy even when I keep my hair naturally curly/ wavy it's still very noticeable. I already had shorter hair, but now it barely goes past my shoulders. Also, after drying and styling my hair at the end, the top of the back of my head was still damp which ruined my blowout as it dried curly. This horrible and careless haircut will take months if not a year to completely grow out and fix. Truly considering chopping my hair extremely short since I have my sister's wedding in 2 months and have to wear my hair down.

She was also very nice and engaged throughout but not too much, which is always welcome! Thanks for a good experience.
