I am convinced the little old lady that gave me the pedicure has never done one before. I wanted my nails short (b/c of being in tennis shoes, dress shoes etc) I asked her 3 times to go shorter & they still aren't where I want them. She was barely BARELY snipping them. I'll end up cutting them in a couple days. When she filed my toenails she was barely touching them. I felt like she was "petting" my toes & feet with the tools she had. GIRL - get in there! I called the salon to ask about having them corrected, I was told that I should have said something the day before and was instructed to book another appointment to fix them. To be clear, I was willing to pay to have the nails redone and communicated that during the call. The conversation ended, and I accepted that this would simply be my last visit. Later that day, I received a direct message from the nail technician, Luna. While she is clearly very skilled at her craft and may have just had an off day, the follow-up message felt unnecessary and unprofessional--especially after I was then blocked on Instagram.
