This isn't your typical Swedish or deep tissue massage at your massage envy place. I believe she had some asian massage techniques going on so be sure you know what you're getting into! She has advanced her education and knows quite a bit about the musculoskeletal system and knows what to do for that achy area, whether is back, neck or legs. She is not just for relaxing, she is a therapeutic masseuse. She now only does on-site appointments, so you've got to be referred to her by an existing client. Most places said they only do Swedish (relaxing) massages but I needed an extremely deep tissue service. She practices in the salon located in the same shopping center at the jellyfish restaurant. She was ready when I walked in, it was smaller salon area but I wasn't too worried about that. She showed me into her room, it was welcoming, and asked some 'get to know you' questions. I work in a similar industry so she understood my pain and how to get rid of it. The 90 minute service was exactly what I needed for the stiffness. Towards the end of the service, she worked on my feet. I was so focused on my shoulder stiff was from the start that I didn't realize how much my feet and ankles were also sore.
