There are so many ways of taking care of yourself, and I'm excited to see SweatHouz as a great…read moreoption for those that want to include hot and cold into their self-care routine. There are private rooms equipped with a tub, shower and small sauna-perfect for 1-4 people. You can rotate through the different experiences at your leisure, although the staff will be happy to suggest optimal times for each experience based on your goals. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. I can see this being a part of many peoples' regular self-care routine.

I saw they had a great promotion to try this out on instagram and I was intrigued so I came to give…read moreit a shot. I've always been hesitant when considering cold plunges but wanted to give it a fair shot. The staff is very welcoming when you come in and they give you a tour. I really like that each person has their own suite so you can go at your own pace and you have the privacy to really enjoy the experience! You get a cold compress to enjoy in the sauna, the sauna starts at 140 but you can adjust up to 170! I stayed at 140 and it was perfect, like a warm blanket. The cold plunge was...a challenge haha I did two sessions of it the first session I only went up to my knees and the next I was able to kneel down into it but man it was cold BUT I loved it. It felt so refreshing and I really felt like I was energized after. They do offer a vitamin c infused shower which to me is a bit of a buzz wordy thing I don't believe that the Vitamin C can really be absorbed that way but hey it is in there so who knows. This was a great experience and I actually ended up signing up for a membership. I like how i feel after doing a session! My only complaint with this place is they don't provide water during your experience you'd have to purchase it and at their price point I don't think it would be too much to expect water to be included. Overall if you've been interested in trying heat/cold exposure this is a great place to give it a shot!

Came here because I got a 90 minute massage with add on Groupon for my birthday. You cannot book…read moreGroupon massages online which is annoying, you can only do that on the phone. Getting there deal was nice and helpful deciding which add on to do - I did the Himalayan salt stones. The waiting area is just in the front which is different from most massage studios I go to where it's a calmer darker room to wait. Still nice and they offered hot towels if you wanted. The massage room was pretty normal. They asked what type of pressure and massage I wanted. The massage itself was, not great. I asked for deep pressure and it just felt like getting oil rubbed on me. There was no target around the muscles and even when I asked for deeper pressure it remained the same. It felt like maybe my therapist was new and didn't know what he was doing. I asked to avoid my hair and he massaged my scalp and messed with my hair anyways. The Himalayan salt stones were nice but they were used for a few minutes on my back and that was it. In addition my massage ended 10 minute earlier than it should have. It was a 90 minute massage not 80 minute so that was quite annoying as well. Will not be back.

This place is now called Hand and Stone Massage. It was bought and taken over. I didn't love that…read morethey didn't honor the $300 gift card I purchased for my mom before the company switched over. The massages and facials are good and the staff are always very nice. It does seem like a different take on massage envy now but it's still worth going if you're looking for a last minute massage or facial.
