This place has helped me a ton as I have been lifting 5-6 days a week for over a year. I feel so much less sore after workouts now!

I have been practicing at Lifted Life since August. I am a very novice yoga practitioner and every…read moreinstructor has been very patient with me. I'd consider myself quite inflexible from my hips down, but I've never felt "less than" or singled out. On the contrary, Julz, Traci, Deb, and Sue have all been very encouraging of using blocks, bolsters, straps, and modifications so I can still practice the poses they are signaling. I've found yoga is just as much about a journey of self/mindfulness as it is a journey of the physical body. Lifted Life emphasizes this whole approach to yoga - the mental, the spiritual, and the physical. They are good about sharing yoga traditions and teachings without being super "hippie" - I'm trying to say I've never felt uncomfortable, feeling forced to feel or believe one thing or another. This is a very peaceful studio. There are some instructors that are more "power yoga" type than others, but I've found the class descriptions to be very helpful and accurate in finding the class that suits my mood or physical needs/limitations. There are yoga mats to rent. They have lots of bolsters, blocks, and straps so you don't have to bring your own. They also have yoga related books, oils, mats, and other things to purchase in the lobby area. I've found all the instructors take past or current injuries or health conditions seriously. You can often hear the instructor suggesting a modification or sharing a reminder to an individual class member based on a fused spine, a hip injury, scoliosis, growing flexibility, and, of course, pregnancy. They offer only a limited number of evening classes at this time, but that's because evening classes were poorly attended. (I know this firsthand because I love the evening classes.) Julz's evening Light I class is the perfect way to unwind for the day and get ready for bed. Traci's Light I classes are perfect for those of us looking to grow our flexibility and/or strength or who need to practice functional movements. (She has us do chair yoga sometimes which, I'm surprised to find, I actually like every now and again.) Sue's evening Mixed is a great flow class. I've worked with Traci the most and she is a great instructor for any level yoga. Julz is also fantastic. Both give great verbal cues and have extensive knowledge on how to practice yoga for your body in that moment. I'm really grateful I've found Lifted Life. It's been an integral part of my physical and mental health journey this year. I highly recommend it. And if you want a super low-risk way to check them out, sign up for their first month unlimited pass. It's very afforable and you get to check out #alltheclasses.

I have attend yoga classes all over the country and Lifted Life is a treasure. Focusing on making every post accurate and purposeful, inviting new awareness and consciousness, friendship, education, Lifted Life offers all of this and more. I especially recommend any class by Deb or Julz but all the teachers are great. Today's class had everything in it! So grateful!

Almost a year ago we transferred from Provo ATA to this location. We loved the program and my son…read morereally enjoyed the classes. We met with Mr Booth about working my son toward a black belt a few months ago and we were ready to move forward. The tuition was estimated to be roughly $600 a month! We were so shocked to hear that an extra 30 minutes per class would more than triple our current price. Mr Booth must have seen the shock and stated "oh I forgot your son is a transfer student so it's half of that". I shared my son was interested in doing other sports and what if we wanted to leave the program during that time, is there a holding fee or anything we should know. I was told we needed to give notice and would then be charged an additional month but if we returned at any time, the "scholarship" would be voided and we would be expected to pay $600 monthly. We thought maybe it would be worth it to keep paying through seasonal sports. Well, here I am. Unfortunately leaving this 1star review after months of my calls, emails, and texts being ignored. My son has wanted to peruse other sports and coming from a split household the other parent has stopped paying their half, it didn't make sense to continue. We finally went in person to discuss cancellation where immediately upon meeting with Mr Booth he asked why we didn't want our son to succeed, were being manipulative and that they "don't do cancellations". It was shared that this has become a financial burden and the response was "pre-pay, use credit cards, find another source of payment." This clearly shows that this facility does not care about you or your children, only money. I suggest finding another taekwondo studio in the area. Don't get taken advantage of by Mr Booth.

They are knowledgeable in what they teach, honest, and create a learning environment that is both positive and high energy. I'm impressed with the way that they recognize the learning styles and abilities of everyone from Tiny Tigers to Adults and are able to adjust curriculum without sacrificing technique or the learning experience. I love that the Booths teach by example. It's not unusual to see them train beside students in the adult and black belt classes. As a student, I appreciate having someone with their skill level on the floor allowing me to observe both technique and protocols. There are ATA schools closer and more accessible to me, but I can't imagine training anywhere else. Definitely worth the drive to American Fork!

To say my kids have grown up with the Moras sisters would be an understatement. They've helped shape their personalities in ways that only amazing role models can do (especially when kids don't want to listen to their parents). Taekwondo has helped my teenager maintain agility and flexibility as he has devoted more of his time to soccer and running. This kind of cross-training has helped him avoid injuries as his grows. This is all in addition to how much it's helped him with focus and discipline. Preparing for his black belt test was a massive lesson in perseverance! As for myself. Just before I turned 40, I started joining my kids in the Saturday morning family class just to get some kind of regular workout going again after my years having babies. I had no intention of testing for belts, I just wanted the workouts. 6 months later that evolved into bi-weekly adult classes, belt tests, and learning curriculum along with my son. I saw an increase in my own strength, agility, flexibility, and stamina. I love how every workout is different. Attending as many online classes as I could helped us all get thru the Covid lockdown too. It's been 10 years now and I still look forward to my morning mom classes and I'm excited to see my youngest son test for his black belt in a month.

After that treatment, I got diagnosed with Lyme and she again was there to treat me. I have been Lyme free for 5 years now. My teen ager son was treated by her for anxiety, depression and attention deficit. Without that treatment, I don't think he would have reached black belt in Jiu Jitsu and wouldn't have the "A" grades at school. Recently, my daughter who is 10 years old had pain all over her joints and wasn't able to play basketball comparatively. I brought her to see Dr. Lee and for the last 3 months, she has been pain free. Thanks to that treatment, she was able to compete and win in third place the National Champion Jr. NBA Shooting Competition. Our family appreciate Dr. Lee's phenomenal work. You can get better therapy from a homeless person on the side of the road, and it would be a whole lot cheaper! I would not recommend her at all, she needs to be reported to authorities.
