I was offered a complimentary mini Jet Peel before my IPL by the owner of the salon. Wow! although it was only a demonstration, it lasted for approx. 5 mins as opposed to a full treatment which lasts much longer, I believe it really made a difference. My skin looks more hydrated and clearer than it has in a long time and even though its been a week since my appointment, my skin still looks great. In my opinion, it certainly appears that the Jet Peel treatment when used in conjunction with an IPL will give you more satisfying results. read more

I found Revive Medical Spa off of Groupon but I booked my services directly through the office. I was looking for IPL for my back as I've had some discoloration from former bacne. I ended up purchasing the Venus Fractional service and could not be happier with the results. I also was given a complimentary IPL and so far the results look flawless This is an extremely sensitive topic for me and it is hard to find people who make you feel comfortable in your own skin. Debbie did exactly that. She's not judgmental and will set realistic expectations. You can tell she is passionate about making people feel and look their best. She made me feel good the moment I met with her. I wished I found her sooner. They offer the best prices around town and will work with your schedule. The initial consultation was done in depth with Anne the owner, Cathleen RN and Debbie esthetician. These individuals are extremely invested in helping you achieve your aesthetic goals and being realistic with those results. They are honest, kind, very transparent with pricing and if results are achievable. This will be the only office I go to because of Debbie. If you're shy or feel embarrassed about a problem area, Go see Debbie. She'll make you feel extremely comfortable. I went to Revive for IPL facial treatment for the dark spots on my face. I purchased a package of 3 treatments from Groupon. All 3 treatments failed miserably, not even one single dark spot faded. Deb was friendly & she offered 2 more treatments free of charge. unfortunately 2 more treatments failed again. I made two trips to Revive before actual treatment began which I think was wasted of time & unnecessary. They did not even offer at least partial refund. Three years later and I still come to Revive for my IPL facial. I was most recently treated by Tina who was super cute and friendly (we got some laughs in together). As a long term sufferer of rosacea I have tried numerous spas and types of facials- Revive has been the best "bank for my buck". I have seen results without paying quite as much as at a derm in the city. It's ALWAYS important to me to feel comfortable with the aesthetician/nurse who is doing any procedure on my face; all of the ladies here have been great including the owner who is often in the office. For my first time, I went to Revive Med Spa for an IPL treatment (purchased from Groupon-great deal; btw) to rid myself of broken capillaries and a little sun damage caused from outdoor jogging in the summer. I saw laser tech, Jaycee. She's the best. The treatment worked! No more broken capillaries or freckles! Jaycee's extremely knowledgeable with lasers and its capabilities. After the IPL treatment, I went back to Jaycee for laser skin tightening; which I love! My skin looks awesome, so clear, tightened and refreshed looking. I purchased 8 treatments, and stopped after six. This was one of the worst 'spas' i have ever been to. Every time i was there they had no idea what i was getting done, how many treatments i had left, or even what services i was getting. It was like the chart they had on me was useless. They tried to rip me off two treatments because of their unorganization, and I had to pull up my credit card statement to prove to them that I paid for 8 treatments. Not so sure about this place...Had my very first Dysport appt today. Scheduled with a Groupon of $240/For 60units of Dysport. When I went up to pay, girl at counter said $299. I was vastly confused. She said that Kathleen (woman who did my injections) told her to "Honor Groupon of $299/with the IPL Facial" In those exact words in fact. I certainly didn't get a facial of any kind? This being my first ever appt with facial injections of any kind, I'm assuming that she thought she could "JIP", or Totally take advantage of me being new to this and all. Which is really pretty awful. My friend has same service fine right after me, and she was charged the Correct Groupon Amount. She is also No Rookie when it comes to facial injections. Go Figure? Smh. The environment itself, was vastly disorganized and almost seemed a bit chaotic. Just wasn't as relaxing as this type of appt should be. So much for my first experience being a good one. The nurse who injected was very professional, experienced and just overall wonderful!! She explained the procedure, and answered any questions. I then decided I wanted more of the dysport so staff told me if I wanted more, they would honor the groupon for ANOTHER 60 units. I came back a week later and they honored it. I went in to see Debra for a facial. She took the time to evaluate my skin thoroughly and determined that what I came in for was not the right type of treatment for my skin. She discussed a different treatment that she thought my skin would benefit more from and made sure what she gave me was of equal value.
