Beware. Find a stylist that actually listens to you. If you realize that they are not, walk out. I wish I had. My hair is an absolute disaster. I paid a lot of money here. Multiple appointments and...I anticipated more (I had a vison) . Before I knew it..the BEST cut turned into the worst crap on my head ...in one appointment my entire life flashed before my eyes (not the first appointment but the THIRD.) OK (is what it is) so it was a super bad cut and a massacre of a dyeing mess. She wanted something "quick" she charged me for a better (longer) service, She got out early, and.Im stuck with something that might resemble hair-but really looks like urine-yellow straw, and I was charged the same for a three hour job. Ill get over it (in about 6 mos), however, why do I have to get over it? Dont book an appointment and you wont have to suffer this experience. Do NOT do it. Unless you are over 80 (then go for it) and trying to get your money back from these people? When they offered a refund? yep....possibly a paper check.. they ask you to come IN to pick it up. They are inconceivably non electronic. (they kept my money , I was happy to have them just shut up) My experience: stay away. You will not get any satisfaction No one in this business listens. In 2007, my neighbor steered me in the direction of waxing.. she opened up a whole new world to me by giving me B&B's phone number. I'm shocked no ones reviewed this yet. I remembered to check in here today and saw it all empty! So sad because this place is pretty busy! I would definitely tell you to call a few days before you'd want to have an appointment! One can imagine the awkwardness of the first brazilian wax, yes? Well yeah it was for me (back then), but she's used to that and made me feel completely comfortable about it. Shes a great conversationalist which makes the time spent there well worth it and hey, now it's not weird! She has a list of services offered and I think she can host spa parties there. I receive the monthly e-mails which are good for the specials or new products. I only go for the Brazilian wax but wouldn't imagine going anywhere else for this service because she knows me and makes me feel comfortable about the situation so it's awesome! My sister-in law recommend Lisa DeMarco the owner of Beauty & Beyond. I was looking for an experience esthetician to bring my daughter to. My daughter has been going to Lisa since September 2011 and she has been doing a great job keeping my daughters acne under control. Lisa recommended some products for her to use, but she doesn't "push" the products. Today I decided get a facial and has to be one of the best I've had. She massages your feet and legs then puts you feet into these warm booties. She massages your hands then puts them into warm mitts. Then does the facial and gives a wonderful massage of the neck, face and head. Lisa really makes you feel welcomed and really nows her stuff. Lisa is a magician when it comes to skin care. She takes the time to go the extra mile in taking care of my skin during facials. I have dry skin that sometimes breaks out...so I need a good hydrating facial and great extractions. I feel like a new, better person after leaving there. I am a chicken when it comes to waxing. Which is probably why I have put it off for so long now. Finally, I called up B&B after reading Cristina's review and she fit me in that very evening (guess the stars aligned on that one). Talk about making an unpleasant experience as good as you can, Lisa made everything very comfortable and talked with me throughout the whole thing! She uses good product so the wax adheres to the hair and she is also meticulous and detailed about the direction of the hair.
