The owner Pagan, met with us after he finished up his last appointment of the day. He was great! He was patient and real with us about style placement and took the time to give his full attention. He made us feel comfortable and excited about our endeavor. After about 5 minutes we decided we wanted him to do the work. After trying to figure out the best time for us to come back, he said "let's just do it now ", and so we did! Now keep in mind they were about to close for the day, and he didn't rush us or make us feel like we were imposing. This was a great experience for us. He was very personable and it was the most fun we've ever had a tattoo shop. My son was a little nervous about it because it was his first time, but Pagan made him feel at ease and even was cutting up with him, and now I think our son is hooked after his experience. Pagan and I discussed other tattoos for myself in the near future, so we will definitely be back. It's people like him that make these types of experiences enjoyable and something to look forward to.

I took my 9 year old daughter to her ear lobes pierced today. Paige and Kristen were amazing! Basically, everything I wrote about the first experience still applies! See below: I cannot say enough good things about the shop itself, which was clean and brightly lit. The piercing process, from start to finish, was efficient. The tools were sterile and single use. Both Paige and Kristen were kind and patient while explaining the process to my daughter and walked her through every step....and the piercing was FAST. They used numbing cream.... When I tried to schedule time with him again he cancelled on me after driving 50 minutes to the shop. I was hesitant to see him again... I went ahead and made another appointment with him, that morning he didn't cancel he said he was stuck at the river so I asked if he's going to work later that day, because I made plans with a babysitter to watch my kids while I go. He got offended that I would even think about him tattooing that day. He said I was a bad client and wrote me off leaving me with unfinished artwork. He very unprofessional and rude. He acts like he has power over people. What kind of artist does this??? After telling my story there's been multiple people saying that Joe has changed. He acts like your bugging him when you try to schedule time. He's lost his spark. If he doesn't like dealing with people he should be in the tattooing business. I do not recommend JOE at all.

In the five months since I booked, I have received little to no communication from him. When I would call the shop phone, it went straight to a voice mail box that was already full. My text messages and DMs went unanswered. On the day of my appointment, four hours before my session was to begin, I received a text message from a third party -- not the shop. The text message indicated that Bruno would not be in the shop until "next week" and that my appointment would be cancelled. I did not respond to the message, but when I went to check the shop Instagram, I discovered I had been blocked for reasons that are beyond my comprehension. My entire experience with Lucky Tattoo has been unprofessional and thoroughly disappointing. All I can say is, this is NOT how you run a business, let alone how you conduct yourself in polite society. Bruno wasted my time, my energy, and my money. Think twice before you do business with Lucky Tattoo.

Originally she told me I was a great candidate/had perfect eyelids for permanent eyeliner, but once I was committed to the service it was another story. She explained it's not an exact science, we would need to play the shape of the tattoo and the duration of the work by ear. She doesn't listen. It's frustrating. I know what I like. I'm a very grown adult. I asked for brown, Carol said we have to do black. She doesn't like how brown fades. I asked for a thick, rounded arched line, Carol told me my eyelids wouldn't hold it. I ended up with a thin black line in a shape that's almost square, not round/arched like I was hoping for. It changes a lot about your look to have eyeliner with sharp edges on your eyes. I am really sad. But at that point it's a tattoo on your face. What can you do! It will need to be fixed by a different person. The worst part is Carol kept my $200 deposit to put toward a "future appointment" and still charged me full price on the day of the service. That's a terrible scammy business practice. I don't want a future appointment. So I'm just out of luck. She stole $200. Shame on you Carol. Listen to your clients! You may not like brown, it's my face! You should know by looking if you can't perform the service as requested. You behaved very cavalierly with someone else's money and eyes.
