I knew I wanted to get her pierced at a professional place, with a needle, and not at the mall with a 16 year old and a gun. I called ahead and spoke to Travis, who was very nice on the phone. He told me that he pierced his own daughters' ears when they were around the same age as my daughter and that made me feel very comfortable. We arrived and Travis was even sweeter in person, he was very gentle with my daughter and told her what he was doing as he was doing it, (cleaning her ears, etc.) I was very satisfied with the whole process, and will definitely recommend them to anyone else looking to have a piercing done.

Entering the appointment-only shop, you're greeted by your artist at the door. There's eclectic artwork starting right as you enter and continuing throughout the shop. Some are display, some are novelty, some are for sale. But all of it intriguing and engaging. I could hang out just exploring the shop. The fact that it's appointment-only and that you must be escorted in creates and environment free from outside distractions, allowing for a truly focused experience between patron and artist. Scotty Tedrow seems like a fantastic human being. He engaged me I conversation when I was talkative and let me kinda simmer in earbuds when I needed silence or online distraction. The tattooing is abso-effing-lutely mind blowing. Scotty is basically a wizard with black and grays. His blackwork portfolio could be a textbook/training manual in the style. Jarred Scott tattooed a memorial piece of my late pup a few years ago. The things this man can do with color borders on the absurd. Ignoring his fantastic attention to detail, I've never seen a fully healed tattoo that he's created where the color is not still as vibrant, saturated, and stunning as the day it was made. The Fox and Crow is a non-judgemental, open, and dare I say safe space. Patrons can feel safe to be themselves with any of the artists or piercers, knowing that they will be welcomed and accepted. I've been to tattoo shops where the air feels tense. Where there's big personalities clashing across the tables. The Fox and Crow is the opposite of that. Worst experience with a business owner in my life! Hires an artist, took my deposit, scheduled an…read moreappointment and when I came in found out the artist was in jail. The other artist wanted another deposit to do the work, had to wait for the owner to return from vacation to schedule a consult with him. Owner proceeds to tell me that deposits are non refundable and he immediately walks away from me!!!! He didn't try to talk about it at all.
