Though I have two UPS stores much closer to my residence, this store was convenient because it closed 1 hour later than all the other UPS stores. For me, this was a huge plus. I paid nearly $50 for a fax to be sent,…read moreand I specifically explained multiple times that the barcode sheet needed to be placed on the front because it was required for the recipient to process the documents. I made this clear about five times before they completed the fax, yet the instructions were not followed. Because of that mistake, the fax was not received. When I came back to address the issue and request a refund, I had the cover sheet and transaction details, and the employees remembered the transaction, but they refused to help because I did not have the physical receipt. I explained that this was related to my disabled child and that I was trying to resolve an issue caused by their mistake, but my concerns were dismissed. I was repeatedly interrupted while trying to explain the situation, and the attitude I received from the staff was very unprofessional. What was even more concerning was being told that they were going to upload a video of me. I was not being disruptive or doing anything wrong I was simply trying to get help and resolve a service that was not completed correctly. After leaving, I looked through previous reviews and noticed other customers describing similar concerns involving the same employee. Unfortunately, after my own experience, I am not surprised to see that others have felt the same way. I understand policies exist, but there should also be accountability when a customer clearly explains instructions, pays for a service, and the service fails because those instructions were not followed. I hope management reviews this situation and provides better customer service and training moving forward.
