Almost feels like many of the reviews on here are fake. We hired them to add several new pages and landing pages to our existing website. We explicitly defined our scope of work and expected timeline to launch our website from the beginning. Many of the items we sent to David were lost in emails even after multiple rounds of Zoom calls and him recording. We worked with David and his developer, which happens to be some person outside of the US, for about 3 weeks. Eventually nothing was completed for us to launch on our existing website. After rounds of back and forth with content that we supplied and many emails asking for various items all the time, David started asking for more money and complained that wanting to launch our new pages after 3 or 4 weeks was too much for him to handle and that he was not able to work under this kind of pressure. We had no issue paying him more money as it was way cheaper to begin with (just like his service) however, it seemed like he knew he was not capable of delivering something professional after all and decided to quit. We agreed to receive our money back and part ways. Our wasted time and frustration will never get sompensated and it was clear that our time and trust to this business did not mean anything to this team. Basically zero customer service. More importantly, we really didn't appreciate the fact that they use cheap labor from some other country with language barriers and only act as a middle person. We specifically didn't want this type of service as we had interviewed several other developers on Upwork and other freelance websites, but eventually ended up getting the same level of service at a more expensive price. Basically nothing is done in house, David is just the face. Rarely inclined to leave negative reviews but unfortunately this is a fair observation based on the service that was provided to us. If you are looking for reliable trustworthy web development service, I strongly recommend staying away from this business - it's almost a scam and you will regret the time and money you spend here.

Too bad I can't give Pixsy ZERO stars…read more In March 2025, we included a CC 2.0 image from Wikipedia as part of a blog post in the U.S. This company sent us a demand for $2,500 for the digital rights to the image (which has no digital rights as it's a CC license in the public domain) and threatened to take us to court if we don't pay. LOL. CC2.0 license has no monetary fees. The law is clear. 30 day grace period after notification to credit the photographer or a take down notice is the only recourse. No notices were received. This is extortion and must be stopped. Small, non-profit businesses cannot afford the time or money to deal with these threats. Pixsy has global reach and is extorting businesses all over the world. Flickr and Pixsy no longer have a partnership. All the artists should know that their Flickr accounts can be closed because of Pixsy's extortion. I reported this to Flickr and got a response in 24 hours. I don't want to punish photographers if they don't know Pixsy is using their names, but collateral damage is unavoidable. I am reporting them to the FTC. They already have an F on the BBB and undoubtedly multiple lawsuits against them for extortion and fraud. I encourage anyone being extorted by Pixsy to fight back and report them to the proper jurisdiction.
