Being in the mental health field, I automatically see what staff is working for a paycheck or if they actually care about mental health and their clients. The Briarr house employees truly care and are passionate about their work. They are extremely underpaid, unappreciated and deserve so much praise for the proficient level of care! The house manager Jules, is an angel. She truly fights for each clients rights and wants the best for them. The clinicians Kate and Isabelle are AMAZING! Kate was my therapist and she is so intelligent and empathetic that fueled my healing process. The whole house staff was amazing as well.. no words to describe the superior level of care I received. Along with the connections, education and support I received I have never felt so much kindness in my life by everyone during my month stay. It was bitter sweet out processing but thankful for this investment to my trauma healing journey.

Was taken off my debit card and posted immediately. Did not stay and was told I would get it right back, the n t day. Had to make my way home with no car from Ventura, Ca to Los Angeles... in the middle of the night, approx 3 hours from home.. Very bad situation. I call every few months and still haven't gotten my money back, it has been 7 months. I am a very physically disabled person currently approaching major back surgery, and really need this money back. Pax seemed nice, and I gave him the money, but as soon as he went home I was left to deal with staff members who were not less than savage, as they kept my money. I have called 12 times, have logged all of the calls, never a call back. They don't seem like compassionate people to be in the business of helping others. Atleast this was my experience

Hands down the best communication & respect I've received to help me on my journey. I leave next Friday which in turn will be 30 days reset for me. This is my first experience ever in any rehabilitation center. I am glad I can in when I did. I've met some great people here along my journey to support my decision to enroll here. If you're thinking about coming here and can. Do it. You won't retreat it. Top notch care & the food is above average & always fresh. Thank you Logan & staff for being a part of my journey. All the therapist are top line. Jake the gym trainer, the best. Super sweet gentleman. From the services they offer to the nurses. Top line. Not to mention for being form East LA native Mexican-America Chicano, I was treated with Class & respect. All walks of life come here that I lived with for 30 days. This Inneractions of today (new owner) is run like a headless zombie. Definitely not for people who seek consistent, compassionate care. Today's Inneractions almost appears to be a monopoly business, that survives, by brining in folks straight from rehab, sending them to Inneractions Sober Living, and bringing them in for groups. Like a factory wheel. If you identify as LGBTQ+ -- Inneractions can not cater to you. Inneractions does not have the necessary tools or staff. Seek other support.
