I visited this park on a Friday afternoon between 4 and 6 pm. This seems to be a park where people come regularly. Several owners knew many dogs by name. Everyone was friendly enough. The number of dogs ranged from six to 20 during those two hours. A couple dogs got snappy, but their owners were very conscientious and put the dog in timeout or left the park. On this day, all the pet owners pooper scooped, and I did not find the park to be a crap land mine. There are actually three fenced in areas but everyone was in the large dog section. The smallest dog was around 15 lbs. There isn't a water station but several owners had bowls out which became communal K-9 use. Other owners would refill as needed from jugs they brought from home. I had a 35 pound boxer/Boston terrier mix who was mostly antisocial since it was his first visit. I would visit this park again. It's in a good location - not much traffic or noise and right on the trail. If there were water stations, I would have given Reynold's Dog Park a five star rating.

My girls and I really enjoy this park. Lots of room to run, and a little shade if it gets too hot. Almost every dog owner we met was very nice and quick to correct their dog if needed. Only reason I didn't rate with 5 stars is you have to bring your own water.

As a new dog owner, I don't have many dog parks to compare this to. However, this is the closest dog park to my house and my dog LOVES IT. There are two fenced in areas: one for dogs under 25 lbs and one for dog over 25 lbs. I think that's great. My Boston Terrier is 18 lbs and he gets knocked over by large dogs. This park is also accessible by bike off the Perkiomen Trail. Pug lovers- there is a pug meet up every second Saturday at 10:30. (My dog is not a pug but he loves to play with them.) TIP: Bring bug spray- it's always buggy!

A sizable dog park with separate fenced-in areas for small and large dogs.

The pavilion area includes clean public restrooms and outdoor grills perfect for casual sports activities. The paved trails cater to various activities such as walking, running, dog walking, and biking. While the trail markers are helpful, using a mobile phone for orientation may be necessary for longer distances. Although shade from trees is limited, the park offers convenient access to the river, making it suitable for fishing.

Plenty of space, the only time I see a real crowd here is during a sporting events...not the Eagles, but youth soccer practice, volleyball tournaments, or something similar...otherwise there is generally plenty of room here to walk your dog, stretch your legs or just kick back and read a book. My favorite thing to do here is grab lunch and sit in the picnic area relaxing on my lunch hour. Can be hard to go back to work on a gorgeous day, but well worth it in my book! There is one "not recommended" review...I have no idea what this person is talking about, this park is VERY well maintained. Grass is cut, the place is clean and the park ranger is never far from sight.
