At my age, I just wanted them removed and to have a lift Dr Hawes. Removed the implants and gave me a lift, but did not adjust so that they both would be symmetrical One was still slightly pointing outward he did not bother to do Lipo under the arms, so I was left with flabby fat under the armpits. I am not a very large person so the fat under the armpits was minimal. At my postop I mentioned I was surprised that that had not removed the excess under the armpits. He advised to call his office and get a price quote on 15 minutes of Lipo I did and it was going to be $900. Why was I not given that option during my financial consultation and why did he not assess that that is what would be needed to have a complete professional outcome. I feel like because the city is only 200,000 people the plastic surgeons you get here are not extremely experienced. This would've never happened with the last plastic surgeon I used. Nothing would have been overlooked.

The on call physician was called MANY times and did not answer the phone. The progression of the infections forced this person to seek care at an Urgent care, where they immediately directed them to the emergency room where antibiotics where administered. At the follow up visit, the doctor very jokingly said the on call physician, I believe Dr. Bailey, did not have the on call cell phone turned on that day. Due to this negligence I could have lost a very dear relative to sepsis just in time for Christmas. I understand that infections happen quite easily, but to have the on call phone turned off and ignore a suffering patient is unacceptable. With a background in the medical field, I am simply horrified at the treatment this person received.

However, the dr. went against standard medical practices and did not treat the hematoma, so now I have a large goose egg of scar tissue under my chin and a lot of discoloration as well. Also, my neck was injured during surgery, a dislocated vertebrae. It's been over 5 months and I still have ongoing nerve pain for which I take meds and see a specialist.
