He is very patient with any questions or concerns, and if you need to make any changes along the way, He is as accommodating as he can be. He is diligent about partnering with reliable, skilled subcontractors. His crews leave the workplace picked up. The scope of work he did for us included small jobs such as swapping out doors and closing up walls to large jobs like completely remodeling the basement and building a whole new set of deck stairs. He was nice on the phone and told me to go to Lowe's to get the parts. I asked if I could text him my details and we agreed on a price and a potential day to come out. I went Lowe's, as instructed, and went through 3 employees that were not much of help and couldn't even tell me the differences between all the plugs and didn't know if I needed a 15 amp or 20 amp. At this point I decided to text Greg to make sure I don't have the wrong product before his arrival. I sent him a picture of the 3 that the Lowe's employees told me may work, a picture of the existing plug, and a test asking if I needed a 15 amp or 20 amp. He responds saying 15 amp. I then narrow down to the 15 amp and sent him a picture of the one and asked if it was okay. He then said yes. I followed up and asked if he could still come out the day we agreed upon as we never confirmed the day or time for sure. He then proceeded to say (I censored for the review): "I told you to take a photo of your GFCI and ask the guy at Lowes to give you a new one. You are bugging the bleep out of me. I would really appreciate it if you would bleep off! I don't appreciate you texting the bleep out of me about a stupid little job!!! Bleeping annoying!" Needless to say, I blocked his number and found another handyman. If he didn't want or have the time the job anymore, all he had to do was make up an excuse not to come. If I was annoying him, he could have blocked me. There's no need to talk to another person like this.

I hired Josh to do a renovation of the main bathroom in my house. He had great reviews, has been…read morearound for a while, has a current license and was going to do the bulk of the work himself so I wouldn't have random subs in and out of my house. We started the second weekend of May. We had a little bit of a rocky start but then the demolition got rolling and I was feeling optimistic. After that there were a lot of days I didn't see Josh even though he said he was on his way, or he wouldn't arrive until well after lunch and only work a few hours. We got through the demolition and the plumbing updates (replacing a lot of cast iron) and then things got hinky again. I am a chill person. Things happen. But Josh was clearly disorganized, had no contingency plans for when he needed an assistant, and the last straw was when I had a leak coming from work he had done that was causing issues in my only working bathroom and had to pay for another plumber to come in and address. While that plumber was there they found other issues that I will have to pay to remediate. On 7/1 he was supposed to pick up the shower surround from Home Depot and get that in but he never showed. It has been excuse after excuse and I had to fire him. The dumpster arrived mid-May. It is early July and my bathroom is still fully gutted. I have paid out thousands of dollars - almost the entire contract amount at this point and now have to pay another contractor to finish the job. I will be consulting an attorney. I cannot NOT recommend JBH/Josh Horner enough.

We had sought referrals from friends, neighbors and various home advisor groups. After an extensive screening process, we met with Josh Horner and Corey Cooper to discuss our plan. They submitted a detailed proposal that accommodated our budget constraints and we got our job in their queue. Fast forward a few weeks, and we have a beautiful new floor-to-ceiling tiled, curbed shower with glass doors, new fresh tile floor, new wall color, new vanity, new light fixture, all new plumbing hardware, new matching accessories. We could not be happier with our remodeled bathroom. Josh has a crew of highly skilled craftsmen working for him. The tile guys (Oscar and Renan) were absolutely masters and Elias, who did the final painting and finishes was a definite standout as well. Finally, the most appreciated distinction of JBH was their communication. We were informed when trades would be on site and concerns were consistently addressed in a timely manner.
