Let me tell you how pleased I am that I get to review this business again. The reason there haven't been more updates is because Juan does excellent work, and things don't need to be fixed again. Five years after my first business with Juan, in a different home in a different part of town, when I had some issues with a window allowing moisture into my house, I was thrilled to see Juan's company show up as someone who could possibly fix my weatherstripping issues. As he did years ago, Juan was quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and he showed up to assess the situation, give me multiple solutions, and a reasonable estimate, and I was more than happy to hire him again to fix my house problems. He showed up on the agreed upon day with a worker, and the two of them got up onto ladders and removed two very high up triangular windows, removed all the rotted wood and replaced them with PVC, painted, replaced and sealed the windows, and was done in a matter of hours. It's been a few days, and we've already had multiple rains, and to no surprise, my leaking issues have completely stopped. Chatting with Juan, I'm very happy to hear that his business has grown throughout the years and he and his team have expanded beyond just glass and windows, and they do all sorts of renovations and home beautification in addition now. True story: A couple of months ago I ran around my condo trying to kill a housefly with a Bounty paper towel roll (which is twice as absorbent than other brands, FYI). That mother****** landed on my dining room window, and I lightly swung at it to end its life. I killed that SOB in dramatic fashion while breaking my window. "I am so f******* stupid," I told myself. "Yes. Yes you are," replied the heckling, smashed, and deceased housefly. ***** I searched "window repair" on Yelp and couldn't avert my eyes from the perfect five-star rating with 15 reviews. I called the number and a man by the name of Juan answered. He told me he could arrive in an hour or so, but that didn't fit my schedule. He asked me to send him a picture, so I did. He estimated that the entire cost would set me back over $200, which sucked, but it had to get fixed. Over the next few days, texted and called back-and-forth to try to find a day and time I could have him repair my window. Honestly, I became frustrated when we did agree on a date and time, and he didn't show up; however, it all was forgiven when he did arrive and repaired my window in less than an hour. Was the communication between us perfect? No. But did it get the job done and would I rely on him again if I happen to break another window? Absolutely. I had glasses replaced in my windows and paid juan $3000. This work should be under warranty he returned last year to replace several of the glasses that he had done before and was very rude to me accused me of pressure washing the windows and said he was not coming back again. Those glasses that he replaced A year ago are fogging up again. I just called him and told him to come look at them. Two other companies told me that he omitted the gaskets when he installed these glasses. He is accusing me again of pressure washing my windows which I told him come look at my house it is dirty I did not pressure wash the house and I know better than to pressure wash windows. I see the other good reviews. but when someone will not warrant their work and not even come back to look at it after sending him a letter, he is not qualified in my opinion to do windows. He might be good in other fields but definitely not windows. When someone looks for excuses not to stick to their warranty that is not in my opinion good reputation not a person with integrity. Juan did a great job replace my window! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs windows replaced or any sort of renovation! I live in Atlantic Station and Juan came out to replace a window. He was fairly priced and provided me with a breakdown of the costs (which most would appreciate). Out of three quotes he was the lowest by about 10%. Although the window was severely damaged and still needed to be replaced, it turned out that the source of the issue was not the window itself. Juan took the time to investigate the real issue, and give me advice and directions on how to deal with the issue without sticking me with a huge "out of scope" price tag. Juan and his team did a extensive renovation in my 1970's house, including some structural work (taking out two walls and installing beams), removing paneling and installing drywalling a den, smoothing a textured ceiling throughout, installing new wood flooring, complete kitchen gutting and installing cabinets, counters, plumbing, lighting, appliances, and electrical. I am super happy with how things turned out and my experience working with Juan and team. From the start, Juan was responsive and timely. He showed up when he said he would (even called when he was running 15 min late because of traffic) and got me a very competitive bid within a few days. In contrast, there were 5-6 other contractors that showed up to my house, looked around, took notes, and then never followed through with a bid despite me following up. Once the job started, his crew showed up every day, worked until 7-8 each day, and ended up finishing the job a week before the contract indicated they would, which I really appreciated because it was right before Christmas. The crew was polite and friendly. Another aspect of working with Juan that i really appreciated was his flexibility. He told me at the time of the bid that he wouldn't nickel and dime me on little stuff and he was true to his word on that. There were several small items that were not on the original plan that his team did without extra charge (install new ceiling fan, replace outlet covers and switches with new white ones, replace vent covers, add an additional canned light to a bank of canned lights). Also, i made some changes midstream (how much of a wall to remove, configuration of kitchen cabinets) and Juan just rolled with it -- even though his crew had mistakenly followed the old plan and had to redo some work, they redid the work without issue. He was also very flexible in working with other contractors, though I ended up having his team do everything. All in all, it was a great experience. This firm is very easy to work with, and communicate with. I am most definitely planning on using AER again for additional work. read more

Juan and his team are just the best, beginning to end. I could not be happier. My project started with just 2 windows I wanted to be replaced. I had difficulty with a few other companies that didn't want to take on such a small job. His team replaced them quickly and at a fair price, and I loved the sunroom window so much, I decided to do a total renovation of that room. They removed paneling, replaced insulation, sheetrocked, added molding, painted. At first, I just wanted the ceiling smoothed and repainted, but then decided to see if it would be possible to totally remove it and vault it up to the roofline. The roofline allowed for the ceiling to go about 14 feet high at one point, but a very unusual and challenging shape. They added shiplap, a beam, ceiling fan, and it is spectacular. They added an exposed brick wall which is again a challenging shape that goes up at an angle to the high point of the wall. The whitewashed bricks I ordered were a lot whiter than I expected, and they tediously added paint thinner to each brick, the whole wall, 3 layers, to strip them down to the perfect color. I had another wall in my dining room that had several major holes after I had removed an intercom and some outlets. I thought that the sheetrock would need to be replaced, but the patchwork they did was flawless. They ended up repainting that whole room too. So, those are a few details of what they achieved, but most importantly, Juan, David, Leo are just the nicest, most hardworking, trustworthy, on time, late working, pleasant, patient, skilled guys that you would ever want to meet. Any adjustments and questions I had along the way, they met with kindness and persistence, wanting the end result to be exactly what I wanted. Working with them has made me now want to renovate my bathrooms and also recommend Juan to my friends. It would be great if companies would understand, that if they do an excellent job in the small things, it could turn out to be a much bigger project than they first expected. Call Juan. He will call you back, show up when he says he will, do excellent work at a fair price. I had a difficult situation in that I needed to replace a palladian window that had rotted and fallen to pieces. I got four estimates and most of the bids were really high (like in the several thousands). As this window is the focal point of the front of my house, appearance was very important to me. I was told they don't service Marietta currently but because I was a repeat customer he would make an exception. He said he would make it out to my house the next day which I agreed would be fine only he never called, showed up, or answered my phone call, text, or email. This is unacceptable as we are all adults here and I even told him in my text to let me know if he just couldn't get to me and it would be fine. Juan and his team just completed a week's worth of work at my home and I couldn't be happier. Juan and his team performed various tasks including (1) painting the exterior of my home and repairing rotten wood (2) pressure washing the exterior of the home, stairs, driveway and sidewalks (3) fixing broken cabinets (4) installing outside ceiling fans (5) deep cleaning and resealing my travertine shower and several other odds and ins that needed repair in my home. Juan was exceptionally courteous and he was very easy to work with. He was an excellent communicator and openly discussed the plan to repair the items I had on my list. He took pictures of the repairs to my house that I couldn't see (because they were on the second or third floor of the exterior). As I found additional items in the home that needed repair, Juan was always happy to help and he was creative when finding ways to repair items that in the past I was told could not be repaired. Once all of the items were addressed, Juan and I did a complete walkthrough of all of the work his team performed and anything I wanted touched up was immediately addressed (please note, I am exceptionally detailed and picky and this never seemed to bother Juan).
