Brought in to have timing corrected, vehicle ran fine on the way there. But not so fine on the way home. Was told notches on timing are both pointed up. Was told by elsewhere one should point up and point down. Will talk to them on Monday when they open again as it is Friday and they are closed now. I give 3 stars and will boost up later when problem is known if timing is off or not still... Update: 10-22-2013 Can't right a new review so must edit. I gave 2 stars instead of 3... Timing is still not set correctly, they claimed to have double checked the work, but by doing so you got to do the whole job over because of how the timing cover comes off a geo metro 1990 Lsi. Anyways.. They did not put the timing belt cover back on and screws were lose. The alternator belt went threw the timing cover so now I need to replace the cover on top of them not aligning the timing. I had to print out directions to show him how to set timing on the car and where the marks were at. They just aligned it up with the spring, which is not exactly where the mark is at. (As directions I printed out showed) This will probably be my last time as with my 1997 Pontiac Bonneville I brought in for an estimate and they replaced $800+ worth of parts with labor with no ok to do so. The owner got upset but the employee just told him he will handle it, that I brought it in to get the problem corrected. I just bought a new belt, so now I will have to replace the cover. I will also have to replace the alternator belt now as it ate threw the timing cover.

Agri Cover is the worst company that I have ever dealt with in my entire life as a consumer. The…read moreroof rack for my 2023 Ford F150 was flawed from the manufacturer. I had a high end, specialized shop install it and the geometry of the rack was off as it was not designed for the bed of my truck (it was sitting flush at corner edge of the bed and was recessed by two inches sitting on the bed closer to the cab). The rack came loose in a week of driving and I had to re-tighten the bolts twice in two weeks. I then contacted the customer support and was issued an RO number, they asked me to ship it back to me at my expense which cost me another $200 as the unit wouldn't fit within the normal parameters of the regular package, got an email from a very rude customer service representative that assured me that the geometry of the rack is fine - it's my truck bed that was crooked. Overall, stay away from this no name piece of garbage of the company, reach out to known brands, this is a scam and this is a financial mistake,

I told them what it was doing and what I thought to be alternator light was on. Prior to this I had the night before unhooked my battery for the night when at hotel so it took any light on dash off and reset it so anyway when I got it towed I told the owner that picked me up what was wrong and what I had done that night with my battery anyway he wasn't very talkative actually seemed quit grumpy he said his boy could look at it see what was the problem. So as I waited in the lobby they never came out and told me what was wrong nothing so I waited 45 mins , now mind u I was desperate I did not plan on staying in hotel that night didn't have clean clothes no shower no pills ect so was a horrible morning anyway well 45 mins and my car was done still no one came and told me what was problem I saw the mechanic come out a few times another guy called me to the cash register to pay and my bill was 778.00 I asked what problem was and he said it was my alternator which I had just had checked a week prior to this from local mechanic at home. That's why sorry but being a woman that doesn't know much about cars thought that was problem and that was the light that was on. My mechanic at home said my alternator was fine before this and had a new battery put in he said my alternator was putting out the right amount of charge anyway they said it was that so with labor , tow , and parts and supposedly a diagnostic test this was amount of bill 778.00 I couldn't believe how much it was I used my Dads credit card paid for it , I got down the road after 40 mins of driving and car did same thing almost stalled on me I pull over to side of road called them they told me to go back a few miles to Ellendale and have them look at it that the alternator was on warranty so I did and when they hooked it up to diagnostic tester it said I had a bad sensor so all along that was the problem they didn't have the part to fix it till next day I didn't want to spend another day in hotel so he reset the sensir so I could at least make it home or to Aberdeen anyway. Well long story short I ended up getting what was really wrong with it fixed back home which costed me another 200.00 and two weeks later was in Jamestown again and revisited them to tell them it wasn't my alternator and what had happened the mechanic came out directly to talk to me didn't even look me in the eyes and said he tested it and ran it for awhile and alternator light came on which was total lie because it was my engine light that was on from begining. And they over charged me on labor I was only there 45 mins and was charged for almost two hours labor plus 175.00 for so called dianostic check which no way they could of done cause no light would of been on because I reset battery the night before. they were rude when I went back and questioned them and flat out lied about what was wrong. I believe what it all came down to was they saw a "woman" who was desperate to get home and just took my word that I thought it was the alternator and put a new one in and charged me a ongodly amount. I would never take my car there again to be fixed. They should be ashamed at what they did to me I believe they took advantage of my situation and it ended up costing me just about a 1000 dollar to fix a 50 dollar sensor that was right in front of motor that would of taken mayb 30 mins to fix shame on you!! I was really hoping they would of made things right I hope this never happens to someone else thanks for reading.

Not only did Stacy check it out and fix it right away for us to get us quickly back onto the road, he even sent us with a spare fuse and instructions on how to replace it, should it happen again. Eckman's has my highest praise and deepest gratitude. This road trip has been trying enough as it is, but Stacy made it just a little more bearable today.

On arrival, there's a large, open, well-lit parking lot & the snow is always cleared! Once you enter, staff are friendly & personable, beyond the usual greeting & sales pitch. There's a genuineness in the interaction that one doesn't see often. They are well-stocked & it's clean. The facilities are well-maintained & very accessible. They even have a nice seating area, complimentary coffee & bottled water - and offer to get it for you. This was our final stop of the day in our Road Glide hunt. We struck out again, however we did leave our info and our preferences in the book of knowledge & we'll wait for the nice gent to forward potentials to us as they roll in. They came with a wrecker, got us settled in their warm vehicle and towed us to their shop. My husband was coaching a chorus in Bismarck on Friday evening and all day Saturday, and we would be coming back through on Sunday. J&L assessed the problem and said they would have it fixed and ready for us on Sunday when we came back through, and they did! They went above and beyond to take care of us and get us back on the road in the frigid cold weather. We are sooooo thankful for their willingness to help and their skill in getting it fixed so quickly! Thank you J&L Service!!
