The program consists of a weekly lesson with a private teacher and a weekly group lesson with other children of similar ability. For grade school age children, music theory and music reading is taught on a weekly basis as well. The program is very well-organized and over the years, it feels like joining a large community. Our private teacher, Maria-Rosa Germain does a great job with my daughters- she is very patient, enthusiastic, and has many wonderful teaching techniques. I also learned violin through the Suzuki method growing up and I am now happy to be sharing the gift of learning to play violin with my children by being a part of the Suzuki Strings of Madison!
