However, Michael and his team took care of me and did everything they could to make my experience less stressful. They scheduled all my doctor's appointments for check ups and my appointments for rehab. Followed up with continuing care and physical therapy for over a year. They did all that they could so that I solely could focus on my recovery. But It's currently 2026, so why am I writing this now? Let me explain. A year after my settlement was completed, I was getting mysterious calls for collections for my ambulance ride. However, the bill was never sent to me to verify the debt. Michael assured to me that the paperwork they sent was not the right paperwork to verify. But me being skeptical was still afraid and overly cautious because I'm a person who pays all his debts, and didn't want my credit score affected. So Michael suggested that he can hold some of the settlement money as a "just in case" fund until the statutes of limitations expire. I think I can say that for any normal person, this would also seem to be a kind of sticky situation to take on as an alternative, right? Because this agreement requires trust. But in the end his team wrote a contract and I agreed and signed to hold the money. Now to why I'm writing this now; it has been years past since the settlement. To the point where I forgot the statute of limitations timeline. I was contacted by Michael late December of 2025 to schedule an appointment first week after the new year. It was our final appointment and I just received the last portion of my settlement that I forgot about! So trust was definitely earned and received. Excellent customer service.

I was injured at work right before covid 19 corona virus pandemic and the shut down of the public ,the stay at home orders for social distancing and self isolation After being injured but right before the public shutdown i as well was terminated .I thought to myself that I was not going to be able to make it thru the pandemic let alone I was homeless on the street with no job due to either the injury and accidents and/or the pandemic It was desolate in areas where not only homeless people survived but where poverty had taken hold I was in a position of needing experienced legal representation and counsel but the public was shutdown government offices courthouses everything just shutdown including trying to maintain an adequate level of medical care for injuries when everyone was more concerned with the covid-19 virus the impact was global and i was just a sole injured worker there was not a deliverance of workers compensation benefits during the whole pandemic period i received a call from one attorney but did not feel comfortable with the over the phone representation then I received a call from Jennifer an atty from Rhee Dean Law offices I accepted her legal representation based on one conversation over the phone . If your looking at this review its because your looking for a lawyer or a better lawyer than what you have now. Jennifer Rhee is the best lawyer that you can possibly come across. She is dedicated to her clients, she fights like no other lawyer that my wife or myself have came across. We both have had workers comp injuries and have been through the process. It's a pain in the butt especially when you have a lawyer that does not see you as a person they just see you as another case. I was referred to Jennifer Rhee through a friend, after having a case open for almost 3 years with a previous lawyer that didn't care for me or my case. They wanted to settle my case from the beginning with out knowing exactly how bad my injuries were and that wasn't right. Phone calls are not returned in a timely manner and text messages oftentimes go unanswered. We contracted with this firm after an automobile accident by an uninsured motorist in October 2016. I lost quite a bit of time off from work to attend chiropractic sessions and when we completed we asked for status to settle. No response. After asking again, we were told we were in arbitration. Fast forward to Dec 18 2019 and the firm receives payment from my insurance firm. I received a text message asking for authorization to sign and deposit. We granted permission and were told that we'd have our split after the check cleared along with a deposit into our account. Again we were told we'd have a deposit in by Monday Dec 23 2019. Complete silence for the following four days and then a response on Jan 6 2020 that they'd work on the draft as they were working on distribution after settling with the hospital. About another week of waiting and we finally receive distribution paperwork. We sign the releases on Jan 9 2020 and were told that they couldn't deposit into our bank account. A check was supposedly in the mail but it never arrived. I asked for the mail date and the response was "yes". Jan 23 2020 I was sent a text asking if I received a check yet... my reply was no. They told me if I didn't get a check by 1/24/2020 they would draft a new one and send it via three day mail. Mail takes two no more than four days to go across state lines and it's been over two weeks. I don't comprehend how a check for that amount was sent via regular mail vs certified. As I stated, it's disappointing to leave this review as they have failed to follow through on their end...

Once I finished the treatment, Susan and her team began communicating with the insurance company of the taxi that caused the accident. She was professional and worked hard on this case, as it was a long time from when the accident occurred and when we were ready to negotiate. I believe that Susan and her team negotiated the best of their ability to obtain a payout. We decided not to go to court. I hired a female lawyer because I enjoy working with women, not men. The settlement minus expenses was less than I ideally desired from the car accident and recovery experience, however I trust that she asked for the most amount possible.
