He is very pleasant, talks to you very thoroughly making sure to answer ALL of your questions and concerns. My husband has went to him twice in a week sometimes for follow up care and the doctor has never made him feel rushed. He is very respectful and really gets to know his patients lifestyle, background and gives you the sense that he's listening rather than getting his prescription pad out, like more physicians do. Well, it's been a Lutheran General facility at least for various other services (like mammograms, pre-op testing, etc) for all those years. The facility is clean, quiet, and specialized. This outpatient center is divided into an Anticoagulation Center and a Wound Care Center (appointments only). Very convenient parking right outside and no complaints so far with the services.

I've been MD hopping since 2006, trying to find a compassionate and trustworthy provider. Glad I found Dr. Oh. I think he is an amazing physician. He's smart and dedicated to his patients. I like that we can call him for urgent care and he can squeeze us in during his office hours. He's pretty much available every day of the week which is a major plus for me. You never know when you're gonna need a doctor for those moments that are not quite emergent but urgent enough that you need a doctor asap. He's pulled us through some frightful times and I'm glad he's in charge. We can talk to him about anything relating to our health without judgement. You know what I mean? Some doctors berate their patients for not making wise and healthy choices. You feel bad instead of better after visiting your doctor. Not Dr. Oh. He will actually listen to you. He will help you and educate you on what needs to be done to keep you healthy... then he'll scare you a little bit so you'll actually do what he tells you! My apparently was today 2-2-26 at 2pm. Apparently they open at 9 am and I get a call at 10:30 saying there is no doctor there that day (yet when I scheduled that day there was in fact a doctor going to be there) so you are telling me you don't know that your doctor isn't going to be there until the day of? Seems pretty lacking in organization to me. And quite ridiculous that they didn't replace the doctor and expect me to change my appointment time that I've had for MONTHS. I will not be going back to this establishment. I will find a new doctor if I have too. That is actually ridiculous that I'm called 4 hours before my appointment saying I need to reschedule day of or come in early because they can't do their jobs. If your doctors call off a day that is your job to call all clients that day BEFORE THE DAY OF?!?! To tell them they are off. And ask to reschedule. The day they take off would be a nice start to call the people who have done their part to make an appointment.

Wow. This place is the worst. They have what they call "Immediate Care" but there's nothing…read moreimmediate about it. Even with no one in the waiting room it was going to be at least an hour wait. We drove to Northwestern down the street and were seen immediately. Good thing, too, as this situation wound up needing to be escalated to the ER. If we had waited around at North shore, who knows what might have happened. Also, at north shore there's never anyone to answer the phone. At northwestern, you can get a human on the phone quickly.
