I took some time to process my experience and after reading similar reviews feel the need to post…read moremy own. Recently at my annual appointment I was waiting to use the restroom which faces the support staff cubicles. The wait was rather long as there is only one restroom. I had the "privilege" of overhearing how they feel about their clients. "Oh, I hate the perimenopause ones- IM FAT AND HAVE SYMPTOMS BUT I DONT WANT TO GO ON MEDICATION AND GAIN MORE WEIGHT". "THE NEWBIE GYNES ARE SO CUTE WITH THEIR STIs." I was stunned. I went to the restroom, came out, and Dr. Plawyer's nurse was waiting for me. I told her of the incident and she said "I'm sorry to hear that" and then went over my med list and medical history while I'm on the verge of tears. I finally stood up and said "I'm leaving." I did receive a voicemail apologizing and saying it was addressed. However, as a nurse for the past 10 years I understand on a deeper level that the comfort they felt talking about patients at work indicates a culture of not respecting their patients. When we go to the doc we want to feel heard, be taken seriously, and be met with empathy and assistance. I no longer believe this happens at this clinic. Find a clinic that doesn't mock their patients.

If you call the corporate office number, if you can even find it, they can't help you because they are a different office. Midwest Center means nothing other than a common name, like going to a Shell gas station, one has nothing to do with another. Took me multiple requests, over a period of more than 3 years to get my medical records transferred to my new doctor, which were finally transferred as of this year, 2025. Good Lord. What a frickin joke. Please, please, don't waste your time there. See previous review by me if you want the full story.

I felt cated for,and respected, during my stay being treated, unfortunately ALL medications were not returned to me. This falls on the public safety department, and law enforcement, rushing those who've been treated and insurance has ran out. Upon calling to inquire about my medications I was told thereb8s know record of medications, eventhough staff asked when I should take my medications, and never received them during the entire stay. I,'m now faced with paying for a refill out of pocket and tonnage, still haven't located the medications(An important medication/Mood stabilizer)which I was on for a days has gone missing, and shouldn't stop taking the meds, which could cause seizures or EXTREME spectrums, not to mention other medications. I have never had a run in with law enforcement until a misunderstanding days without the meds, this misunderstanding could've cost me my life. The institutions in Evanstonnareba gem,but need to do better with the less fortunate, who don't have the best insurance, but some of us have the best integrity, and dignity. Evanston needs to stop trampling on its residents, less fortunate, catering to Northwestern, and its other privileged. Community is a fine line from something else.Do not claim to be for the people, then treat them like a nuisance.
