If I could give negative 1 I would. They do incompetent and messy work. They did roof replacement and porch and family room remodel which had several issues. No tarp for old roofing and nails. I've stepped on 2cnails in a week, had to go to doctor for shots, lawnmower tire ruined, can't have visitors or family grandchildren for fear they will step.on nails. Run from these people. We used Rhino General Contracting to replace the roof on our home. Rhino's owner (Robert) provided us with a written estimate (which by comparison to other roofing companies was competitive), they accommodated us with scheduling a date for the job, started and finished as promised, and completely met our expectations for materials, installation, and clean up and debris removal. Robert Elliot of Rhino roofing is a fraud by definition. He hires less than competent workers who rush through the work and destroy your roof in the process. They will then create leaks where there weren't any before and tear up yo. Thinking it can't get any worse? After they allow mold and rain into your FL home, Robert will come out and make even more mistakes, while accepting as little responsibility as possible, though your roof had no leaks before, now you have 3 and mold growing on your walls. And to top it off, Robert will tell you that he can't fix his mistakes. What he does is illegal, fraudulent, and I wouldn't send Rhino to work on anyone's roof. Don't fall for the charm and self-professed experience and the "better than Home Depot," it's a scam; He's a scam artist. In the process of litigation and calling 8 on your Side to fix his incompetency. In response to his wife/ business manager, we have checked with multiple roofers and the city of Plant City, the chimney was never the issue (water can't leak UP a wall.) It was so smart for you to have two people with the same last name leave positive reviews in the last few months, happy you finally checked Yelp. Quit lying to people. And as far as taking it up with you, if you read my original review you will note that Robert came out multiple times and failed miserably to fix the issues he and his team caused, until he got too busy lying to new clients to resolve our problem; and laughed at us going through hurricane Irma with a newly leaking roof and he refused to come back to fix it because he didn't know how (but again there was not an issue before and this has actually been confirmed by professionals). The flashing was horrid and Rhino has put themselves in a position to lose in yet another legal litigation. read more

Then we talked about finishing the room off with walls, ceiling, insulation, light fixture, paint and back door. Best looking room in the house now. RHINO GENERAL CONTRACTING AND ROOFING had all good review on Angies LIst so my neighbor and I hired the company. We were told by the owner that his work was equal if not better than other roofers. It has been a mess, we had leaks where there were not leaks, he laid the under lament going every which way and not attached(we have pictures) nor put down according to manufacturers guidelines nor the overlaying tiles laid down correctly. They covered the dryer vents with lament-Really? Now my new roof looks different than any other new roof in my neighborhood. HE TOOK OVER 4 MONTHS TO ROOF A PLACE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WEEK MAYBE TWO. HIS WORKERS GOT IN A FIGHT ON THE ROOF AND THREW THINGS AROUND YELLING--ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER. They busted a hole in the chimney. His bottom line has nothing to do with good workmanship his bottom line is the money. I say don't waste your money. read more
