Had luxury vinyl planking installed in our park model trailer. Ronnie's carpet installers did everything moved our furniture, leveled floor, removed and reinstalled toilet, cut trim around baseboards, trimmed doors that needed shorten and cleaned up after themselves. Speaking from personal experience and that of several neighbors of mine Within our community, not only will they sell you LVT flooring they do not know how to properly install, but they will then insist that your house is not level that you have a moisture problem that perhaps moving new furniture or appliances into your home is the problem. Ronnie White will change his story and try to make any lie he can stick. Ronnie and his team will tell you that you should not install new toilets that you should not install barn doors. Ronnie White will basically try to get out of being at fault when all the while he doesnt know how to install flooring properly. This company is one of the biggest scams in Lakeland. Trust me I took them to court and won the case hands down. Save your money and the aggravation do not use Ronnies Carpet. read more

This family-owned business services Lakeland, Winterhaven, Zephyrhills, Dade City, San Antonio, Wesley Chapel, & perhaps other areas as well. (It's worth the phone call to inquire.) If it's carpeting, solid wood, laminate, or vinyl you want, Ronnie's either has it or will order it for you. Ronnie's specializes in special buys & closeouts. The showroom is open M - F (9 AM - 6 PM), & Saturday (9 AM - 5 PM). My mum used Ronnie's in the early 90's for new carpeting, & later again around 2005 for laminate flooring. Both times, Ronnie's came in w/ the lowest bid, & provided excellent, professional service. I selected Ronnie's & another top-rated area company to provide an in-home measuring & estimate. Ronnie's bid was $1,100 lower for the EXACT same flooring & work, & the sales rep arrived much more prepared. I also received my quote immediately, which wasn't the case w/ the competitor. Over the 3 days that my new flooring was installed, the two men installing it worked hard & fast. They took my questions & left my home clean each evening. When a foundation problem was detected, I was contacted immediately & the correction process was explained. The head installer has been laying floors for approximately 27 yrs; he is the nephew of the man who laid both my mum's flooring:) Like his uncle, his finished product was impeccable. This company was hired by my main contractor to replace our carpet due to necessary repairs. Travis was our contact and his lack of communication made the experience extremely inconvenient. He assumed the carpet would be done in one day and canceled our original start date without even addressing us as clients to insure the dates and times would work for us. The one competent employee that he sent to complete the job in reviewing the work needed to be done confirmed he would need two days which I nor my husband had planned our work schedules for. Travis changed his story (lied) to us the client and our contractor about schedule date and time frame for work completion. Even after addressed by us and our contractor he refused to do anything to help mitigate the inconvenience that he caused. It is clear that this company does not prioritize their clients, nor did they make the necessary efforts to remedy their errors and prevent burning bridges with clients. Travis showed no remorse to the inconvenience on our family instead his dismissive attitude gave us more then enough reason to NEVER use this company again. Travis is not competent in communication and should not have a leadership role since lying is his method of handling an unorganized schedule. I do not recommend this company to ANYONE. Customer service in every business is essential and they are unable to prioritize their customers and provide a service worth returning for. read more

We were in the market for new carpet in one large bedroom with a hall and closet. We shopped around a local big box stores of course and wanted to buy Local if we could. We live in Zephyrhills and many times we had driven to Lakeland and passed by Ronnie's carpet on Highway 98 each time for years. We decided to go there and give them a try. Everyone there was very helpful and not pushy. Prices were very competitive, and our salesman Jonathan was easy to work with and very helpful also. We were there like on a Thursday and they installed on Tuesday they gave us like a two hour window and the installer called me when he was on his way. They arrived in a timely manner and installed the carpet to our satisfaction it looked great and we were very happy with it.In the near future will be installing carpet in three other bedrooms and we will be buying from them again. read more

We have had Ronnie's Carpets into our home twice now. We had initially contacted a big box store and got absolutely horrible customer service, so decided to go local. We are so pleased that we did! All the work they have done for us...carpet, laminate, and baseboards...has been meticulous and professional. The removal of old material and the cleanup afterward were seamless. Used Ronnie's to replace the carpet in my entire house with laminate. The entire process was pretty easy. Went into their offices to look at the various styles and scheduled a visit for measurements. The salesperson provided me with a quote and explained the process. They do background checks on their employees so I felt safe. The installers we're professional and easy to work with; good people. Great job of making sure all the planks aligned the same way throughout the house. Ronnie's has a good reputation; my neighbors all used them. They do cost a little more than other flooring installers but it was worth it for the quality professional work. Love my new floors! read more

I did some research on all the companies I do business with, and found Ronnie's to come highly recommended. I lived in Massachusetts and purchased a home in Lakeland, Florida. And I would be back and forth a few times, meet with Greg Ross and he was a big help. I gave him a time frame that it would have to be done so I can move in to have the laminate flooring completed. He was very flexible with my time frame and worked with me. And the crew of Jamie and Walter did an exceptional job on the flooring. We ran into a few issues and Greg called and we discussed options and he got it done. Then Mary and Teresa do the final moldings I wanted, and I loved the work they did it was better then perfect. Everything thing came out great and I didn't get a chance to see it before I moved in but I was sure Greg Ross and his crew got it done correctly. We moved in on July 1st and was impressed with the work. Nothing was out of place and gave me a change to just move in to completely new flooring in the whole home. Ronnie's will take care of you. However, timing went south and Pete saved the day getting their installers to do the job. The install was excellent and working with Pete on the project was trouble free. This family business has been open over 40 yrs at this location. That speaks volumes! It sells carpeting, wood flooring, laminates, tile, etc. It also offers carpet cleaning services. It serves Lakeland, but also surrounding areas such as Zephyrhills and Plant City. Ron is the owner (reputable guy). My mother very recently had laminate installed by this company after she received estimates from 3 companies, w/ Ron's being the lowest for the same product. Mike was the installer over the 1.5 days, & he was impressive...hardworking, fast, friendly, careful...an all around professional! The company was able to closely match the new laminate to existing laminate in the hallway and other rooms. Approx 15 yrs prior, carpeting was purchased from this establishment. I needed to replace the carpeting in my new home due to allergies. Only two bedrooms and part of the living room were still carpeted, and the previous owner told me that Ronnie's Carpets had installed the flooring in most of the house about 5 years ago. Ronnie's carpets was able to obtain the same brand and wood stain of flooring that was used then. Johnny and Joe very clearly explained the technical issues with "weaving in" new flooring with existing flooring, and the cost and time were prohibitive. They proposed an alternate solution, using a t-frame to connect the two segments of the living room once the new flooring was installed; the flooring looks beautiful, T-frame and all. Brian, the lead worker, took great pains to reduce my exposure to dust and to keep clear pathways for me while they worked. Brian helped me stay very calm when they discovered moisture on one wall. Both he and James explained the risks of continuing the work, what needed to be done, the type of tradesman I could call to resolve the problem. Within twenty four hours, we were good to go. The flooring looks beautiful, and the talent, skill and professionalism were as good as it gets. read more
